I have found a home 3/10/2005

I am new to area & have been to a few local salons, which was not a good experience! Matarazzo is by far the best. It has a laid back atmosphere and the staff looked good, yet casual & were nice and didn't have that hair dresser attitude! I had fun! I found them on citysearch.com and I am glad I looked on your site. Now I at least am comfortable with something in a town I do not yet know! Thank You! more

corrective color! 10/12/2004

I couldn't get in with Erik because He was too busy. But He kindly refered me to Holly! She told me all about color correction. Like how it could take many hours to fix and still not be perfect. She told me it would be like $65/hr. and to expect @ least 4 hours! I ws nurvous! But She had me done in 2 1/2 hours! And my color was soo much better than when I came in! I still need conditioning treatments, but thats ok - my color was horrible and now it rocks! Holly & Erik are a great team! Thanx again! Ill be bACK! Pros: honest, no egos, fun and friendly more

Im hooked 10/12/2004

I guess You would say I'm a "manly man." Meaning I dont like to fuss with hair and stuff. I like Jeanette cos' she dosen't talk about girl stuff much and makes me look GOOD. It was embarassing at first to go to a "real Salon", but now Im hooked - ON JEANETTE! Ill never go back to a barber. more

I received probably the best haircut in years. I have been through about ten hairdressers in the last four years and FINALLY found someone who is talented and new exactly how to cut my hair. She is the nicest person to talk to as well. I highly recommend Jen because she knows what she is doing. i got an awful "manly" haircut from a "highly rated" salon in downtown seattle yesterday; it was just too embarassing to be seen in public. so i made an appt at salon matarazzo to have it fixed the next morning. Not only did Chloe do a fabulous job and make me look feminine again, she rearranged her doctor's appointment to accommodate me and my "emergency situation"!!! You are awesome, Chloe!! Best Ever!!! Danielle 9/6/2004

I have been to many stylist in this area, but I didn't know what I was missing until Danielle colored and styled my hair. I just couldn't believe how I looked!!!! I felt like a totally different person. It was one of those moments when you look in the mirror and think "I am beautiful". Danielle not only is the best stylist but she is the nicest person you will meet. If you want the best go see Danielle!!!!!! more

AT LONG LAST MY HAIR FITS ME!! 7/29/2004

I FINALLY FOUND THE HAIR STYLE FOR ME!!! I found Salon Matarazzo on Citysearch, myself and desided to try it. I' ve been to many salons before and nothing compares to this one!!! Ron new the exact style to fit my features, and Lorane found the perfect color I've been looking for all my life. I have also been to see Erik who is an amazing colorist and cutter and Jennifer who does beautiful 'updos' they are both fantastic aswell. If you need to fined the right hair for you, or just need a better hair staylist, go to Salon Matarazzo THEY ROCK! Pros: relaxed enviroment, profesional, great people Cons: , none, none more

Absolutly fab!! 7/29/2004

Me and some of my friends went to Salon Matarazzo to get our hair done first for tolo then for prom. Both times we all got really tight beutiful hair and i wouned up going back for a cut and color. now i go there all the time, its so great, Lorane and Chole are the BESt! more

I've been a client of Ron (haircut) and Erik (color) for many, many years and they are both the best. I couldn't imagine anyone else cutting or coloring my hair....ever. That said, any of the stylists at this salon are awesome. You won't go wrong. more

I go to Holly, too, at Salon Matarazzo. I really like her. My hair is hard to cut and have had more bad cuts in my life than I care to admit! Holly had no problem in giving me a flattering cut AND color! She works part time and she's a doll. I would definitely recommend her. more

I am from out of town and every time I come to Seattle I go to Salon Matarazzo and have Chloe cut and style my hair. I like Chloe because she is confident and professional. I can always count on a cut that is precise and easy to maintain. Keep up the good work, thanks. more

Finally Fixed! 6/16/2004

My hair was JACKED UP by another Salon up the street! I read the reviews on CitySearch and decided ERIK DVORAK was to be my Saviour. AND HE WAS!!! He was so relaxed and profesional, and knew just what to do to fix my horrible color and cut! It turned out BETTER than expected and Im loving it still!!! Im especially thanlful for Erik's honesty. From the very first appointment with Ashley I knew she would have a loyal client. I'm a guy. In fact, I'm pretty open about it so my hair doesn't require a full day's attention. Ashley's creativity, style and talent impressed me from the start. She stays on top of the latest trends and styles, is active in the industry, regularly travels to NY to better her skill and has that true passion. I am new to the area of Bellevue/Seattle and found the salon through this website. I am glad I chose to come here because it definitely lives up to its high rating. They have excellent customer service, stylist are very friendly and knew exactly what I wanted, the receptionists also were very helpful and made me feel at home, and I left feeling well taken care of with a new hair style that was trendy yet sophisticated. I would definitely recommend this salon to any of my friends, family members, or people that ask me where I get my hair done.   • Ron and Lorane have owned Salon Matarazzo since the doors opened in 1990. They both trained and worked at Vidal Sassoon in Beverly Hills, California and have been doing hair for over 25 years. Their dedication and attention to detail have been passed onto their talented designers who keep up with the latest trends, techniques and fashions by traveling to New York and Los Angeles twice a year.
