Salon De Christe

I recieved a gift card for this salon and decided to go book a massage and facial for some much needed r&r for myself. The girls at the front desk didn't acknowledge me when I arrived, and I stood patiently while they jabered at each other until someone finnaly asked "what are you here for?' RUDE much? My facial was ok, but not much different than any other place I've been. The massage was really bad though, the girl did not ask me any questions, and did not address any areas I asked for specially (like my low back!) and though I booked a deep tissue, I got more of a light pressure. Very disappointed in the services I receievd, I will not be spending my money there again. more

This posting is not location specific; I just wanted to share my experience with Salon De Christe. I went to Salon De Christe for a facial. After the treatment, I have noticed a large open pore on the side of my nose. I contacted the salon and went for a consultation. I was told that a pore was opened up from extracting a black head with a circular tool. They told me I can consider some possible treatment options and look into the cost of these treatments!!! When I asked them if can they help me with the cost since this happened after getting a facial, they told me salon did nothing wrong. But of course I did not end up with a hole on my face for no reason. Don't you read in magazines for example that you shouldn't squeeze your black heads, because they can leave scars. What I didn’t know at that point this was MY PROBLEM, not theirs. They are nice to you when they want your money. It has been very frustrating to deal with it. It is very visible, especially when I wear foundation. You know we wear foundation to improve the look of your skin. But my options are either an empty hole or a hole with a ton of foundation in it. BE AWARE OF WHAT THEY DO TO YOU!!! Cons: Bad customer service more

My washer seemed more annoyed to be working than anything.. my MASTER stylist had a picture of me and she cut my hair so horribly that I look like JOAN JETT. I love joan jett haha but I wasn't going for a SHORT PUNK LOOK. I had hair past my shoulders and she chopped off way too much hair and my hair cut looks NOTHING like the picture. I had it cut for vday for my hubby and it is so horrible I cried all the way home and I cried this morning trying to make it look nice. I don't think my hair is fixable either it's so short!!! The stylist was very nice and proud of her job though and when the stylist next to us asked me how I liked it my stylist refused to let me answer... and the girls at the reception desk just stared at me :( Pros: happy people Cons: do what they want more

I've been to a great number of hair salons throughout St. Louis, both very exclusive and ok ones. So after I was tired of getting hairstyles that my stylist thought would look good but not me, I decided to try the box color. My hair turned orange!!!! I was freaking out as I was hosting a party in a few days! Calling hecticaly all the salons, the soonest I could get in was at Salon de Christe @ St. Charles. Salon is very nice and everyone is very very friendly. Danielle, my stylist, took some time with me to go through some pictures and explained what to expect. After a few hours my hair turned from orange to platinum gold with some depth from lowlights! It fees so healthy and weightless! Thanks to Danielle my hair looks better than it ever did! I highly recommend her and Salon de Christe! Pros: Friendly, professional, considerate! Cons: none more

I went to the ST.Charles location to get my hair colored and left upset. My stylist made my feel like it would be to much work for her to do what I wanted. I felt rushed. I wanted all over color and she said on all this hair you have alot of hair. If she doesnt want to deal with customers with alot of hair she needs to find a new profession. I felt like I wasted my money. I will NEVER go back to the ST.Charles location again. Pros: Pretty Place Cons: Had a stylist who wanted to make my color easier on her and do less work more

I've been going to Shannon at Salon De Christe (St. Peters Location) for a year now. I never knew what to do with my hair because is is so fine and had no volume. She gave some cut suggestions that I went with and now my hair is great. She really knows what she is doing and has always done an amazing job. Well work the money. As far as the Salon and Spa itself goes. Everyone there is super freindly and I just feel at home there. Pros: Pleasant atmosphere and knowledgeable staff Cons: None that I can think of more

So a friend of mine got me a spa package here. It was the best five consecutive hours of my life! I don't think I've ever seen so many people go out of their way to take make me feel comfortable. The spa treatments were awesome! I felt so good afterward that I did absolutely nothing the rest of the night. Beyond that, this place is gorgeous! I love the fireplace. Pros: Everything. Cons: I had to leave eventually. more

Michelle does an excellent service on hair colors, cuts and styles. Very nice salon. Easy to find. Nice floor plan. Wish she wouldn't have left Creve Coeur, MO!!! Pros: Everything Cons: She moved from Creve Coeur! more
