BEST CURLY GIRL STYLIST ON THE MAIN LINE 5/7/2011

Donna is the best stylist for curly hair (or any hair!) on the Main Line! She is a DevaCurl specialist, and I can't say enough good things about her cuts, color, styling, personality, EVERYTHING!!! I have recommended a few of my curly girl friends, and they are thrilled! She is the BEST! more

Great Haircut and Color 12/2/2010

I have been going to Rose for a few years now. She consistently gives me a good haircut that grows out well. I am not good at getting in as frequently as I should for cuts, and follow up coloring, but I can get away with it because as my hair grows in, it looks like a new haircut! Her color is natural, and I am a blonde. I never get that white or brassy look, that I have gotten in the past. While I can never quite get the same look when I blow dry my hair; I can come close because her cuts are that good. She is also very nice, has a good sense of humor, and you will enjoy sitting in the chair talking to her. more

Just a few words, which is difficult to do when describing Donna .. a superb, mature, seasoned hairdresser who is second to none ... she's meticulous about every detail of her craft ... by far the best haircuts and coloring I have ever had. She's bright, funny and makes the appointment not only productive but pleasurable... she's very sweet and extremely pleasant .. great sense of humor .. extremely efficient and doesn't hesitate to make suggestions for the good of the end result .. I trust her implicitly .. so if you want to best in the tri-state area, Donna exemplifies professionalism and is the best at her craft .. and artistic as well .. a sheer pleasure every visit ... The Best Pair of Scissors on the Main Line 9/30/2010

Okay, I'll be frank. I'm was a male chauvinist when it came to hair care. Men, I thought, are the only people who understood men's hair. Nevertheless, a friend told me I should try Monique Frugier. And since I know her from the peace movement, I thought I'd give her a try. Several haircuts later, I publicly repent my chauvinism. Mo is my stylist for as long as she chooses to remain a crimper. Besides her expertise as a hair cutter, she's a much better conversationalist than my former barber. more

Best Haircut 7/22/2010

Monique is the very best hairstylist on the planet!! She is French with a style and flair beyond comparison. She knows how to cut short, long, straight or curly hair and does all her own coloring as well. She fits the style to each person and take a very long time cutting your hair to make sure every lock is perfect! I have never had a bad hair day since going to Monique! All I do is wash my hair and go. I look professional for work and my hair grows out beautifully. I am eternally grateful for Monique and I hope she never retires!! I have been a client of Donna's for 15 years. She is a very talented stylist who always goes out of her way to give her clients great advice regarding styles and products best suited for their hair. My hair can be frizzy, and she has recommended the best products to use over the years. She is also a warm and caring person. WANT SUPER FABULOUS HAIR??? GO TO DONNA 4/12/2010

I have been going to Donna for 11 years! I have enough hair for ten people and it is curly - I use to be paranoid about getting my hair cut, but that fear went out the door 11 years ago. I have had long hair, short hair, highlights, and chemical straightening. Never once was I unhappy and I also receive a TON of compliments on my various different styles. Bonus with having Donna as you hairstylist not only do you get great service, but she is also very knowledgeable about hair products and what works the best for you and tips on how to style it yourself.\r \r To sum it up - Donna is worth every penny!!!! more

Donna is an absolute fabulous hairdresser! Not only is she a highly trained professional, but she is also an artist and each of her customers leave with her unique and creative touch. I started with Donna in 1989 when she worked for Attitude and I have enthusiastically followed her to the current salon. Donna is one of those gifted and dedicated professionals that a person is fortunate to find. GREAT HAIRSTYLIST, WAY TOO MUCH MONEY 8/5/2009

Got my hair cut today at this salon. Donna is an absolute fabulous hairdresser. She did my hair years ago and she did an incredible job today. When I went to pay my jaw dropped to ground when they told me the price for a haircut $70.00. I find this amount to be absolutely outrageous for a haircut. Do these people not know there is a recession. Needless to say, I won't be going back. I cannot afford $70.00 for a hair cut I can't even image what it would cost if I got my hair colored. And for those of your who are probably thinking ""Why didn't she ask first"". Never did I imagine a haircut costing this much money. That's why I didn't ask. Shelly's Brazilian Hair Straightening is Awesome! 2/25/2009

Shelly recently applied the Brazilian Hair Straightening treatment on my hair and the results are really incredible. It used to take me an hour of blow-drying and ironing to get my hair straight. Now, it takes me ten minutes, if that. My hair is shiny and soft and I love it. The only drag is that you have to leave the treatment on your hair for 4 days to let it do its job. By the fourth day, I was really ready to get that stuff out of my hair. Besides that, and a few eye-watering fumes during the process, I would highly recommend getting the process done. Be sure to use Shelly- she really knows what she's doing. She's also a fabulous colorist. I'm a brunette, and sometimes highlights can come out brassy. Shelly, however, was able to give me really subtle, caramel highlights that really make my color shine. Mario's haircuts are the best too! more

Great Cut! 10/18/2008

I am very picky when it comes to who cuts my hair, and all I can say is that Mario does an excellent job! I have recommended him to my friends and family. They are all repeat customers now. We love our hair! We all get great compliments! Try, and you will see too! By the way, I don?t know who Heather is, but I know the girl complaining about her is probably upset because her hair is a little darker. Most blonds, when they go a shade darker, get upset. Don?t ask why, it is just a weird phenomenon I have heard about through a colorist. more

That Girl is Crazy!!!! Heather should have been picked Best in the World!!! 1/24/2007

I was reading that ridiculous review where that moronic girl gave Heather a bad rating. Well my opinion is you shouldn't be on the pipe and have your hair done on the same day. Not only is Heather the best at what she does, but she is the most wonderful, caring, gifted, warm, compassionate person I have ever met. I have been to many salons in my lifetime and have had my hair cut, styled, colored etc. by all kinds of people. Heather doesn't just do hair, she is an artist. She is a perfectionist! I was amazed at how she noticed every little detail. But I can honestly say, after the 1st time Heather cut my hair, I felt like a new person. She had such a positive impact on me and she made me feel so good about myself!! She changed my life for the better, and when I read that negative review it really ticked me off! As a matter of fact soon after the new look Heather gave me I found the girl of my dreams and I am madly in love!! I really believe I owe it all to Heather!!!! more

Don't let Heather touch your hair 9/3/2006

Not sure what was worse the bad color that was too dark or the unprofessionalism with Heather.\r I was not asked what I was after but to ""trust her"" while she colored my blond to a faded gray-ashy color. Also, who wants to listen to your stylist's telling her co-workers details of her date from the night before? Well, I can't decide what was more upsetting the outcome of my hair or the $300. I had to spend for it all !!! I'll never know how Best of picked her has best colorist for 05 or how she got 8.4 on this rating system!!! Who arranged that ?? more
