Our doctors are specially trained for infant and pediatric eye care beginning at 6 months of age. Dr. Michael Klautzsch, Optometric Physicians, has been providing Salem Oregon with quality eye care since 1996. Dr. Klautzsch is a native Oregonian, and a graduate of the renowned UC Berkeley School of Optometry in Berkeley, California. Dr. Klautzsch is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) as well as the Oregon Association of Optometric Physicians. Dr. Klautzsch's special training has earned him the title of "optometric physician". He is licensed to provide comprehensive medical eye care, short of surgery. As an optometric physician, Dr. Klautzsch can treat eye diseases and prescribe eye medication when necessary.
