I recently took my family to Sal's. The food was perfect. The server was horrid. Unfortunately, I had to wait tables throughout highschool and college, so I know a little about it...

I recently took my family to Sal's. The food was perfect. The server was horrid. Unfortunately, I had to wait tables throughout highschool and college, so I know a little about it. The server made snide remarks. She was very cold and acted annoyed when we asked for a refill or a takeout box. I think she even rolled her eyes once or twice. Although the food was wonderful, we will probably never go back because of the service. more

I love this place 8/18/2005

I'm a big fan of Sal's Pizza (on the downtown mall). It's quiet, cozy and has a great outdoor seating area. Furthermore, the food is great. It's usually pretty simple, but it's consistently been very good. I've had the spinach tortellini and a couple different types of pizza, and all have been excellent. There's something about the red checkered tablecloths that made me feel at home. more
