For years we've gone into this ran-down Subway location on NE Broadway. I guess Michele thinks if she acts like someone else is the manager or franchise license holder it won't sink-in that she is a poor business person and her store sucks.
Yes, Michele A Nicholson, Ron-Shel Inc is the owner and responsible for running this corp name into the ground.
After donating some household goods to Goodwill I thought I would go over and grab a snack from Subway. Upon entering some older folks were grumbling about how she (the only person working in the restaurant) was shorting them on ingredients. A lady and her teenage daughter stood in the line ahead of me and eventually Michele (the hagard 51 yr old, black haired woman that always seems put-out to be there) yelled across from the cash register to the mother...""what do you want"" the lady kindly said I'd like to speak to the manager and Michele said ""you may not need to speak to the manager, what do you want""...the mother looked as though she had been scolded and said politely ""I'd like an application for my daughter""...Michele went into a explanation about how the manager (would this be her husband Roger Kent Nicholson?) would look over the apps but she would just put it on his desk. The mother of the teen looked back at me and I asked her you sure you want to have your daughter work here? She grimaced, but the daughter went ahead and accepted the app from Michele. Then she turned her hate and nastiness on me...what do you want, she belched...I told her I was done coming to her location...she said fine..get out...this woman is one of the worst business people I've ever encountered and to think she'll cast her wicked spells on unknowing youth as they try and appease her on their 2-3 hr on-call shifts.
If you're looking for a job stay away from this place and please pass on to all that might mention going to this location that this is one business that should not be supported. Irvington and NE Portland have so many other businesses that appreciate your patronage.
