Okay so this may sound like a good idea for the young 20 something generation (which I am a member of) but for me it's over-rated. If you're single maybe it's the place to go on ...

Strike Bethesda 3/31/2006

This is a fun place for a great night out. I sometimes need something different when IU go out so this is a nice option. Bowling is so much fun, even if you are terrible like me. The alley here is very clean and the rates are cheap. It is a cheap night of fun. Don’t worry you can rent shoes here and they have a wide supply of free alley balls. more

Nice Change from a Typical Bowling Alley 12/21/2005

My husband and I went to this bowling alley together and had a great time. What we loved themost was that the servers come to your lane to take your orders for food. IT is a newer concept for bowling alleys and I would check out their website before you go. THat way you know what to expect. more

Fun, Hip Place for Dates or Just Hanging Out 12/21/2005

Strike Bethesda is much more of a fun, hip location compared to many other bowling alleys. The atmosphere is great, and they hold a lot of special events. The price is reasonable, and they have good food and drinks as well. This is much better than the standard duckpin bowling alley. more

Date Place of Just For Fun 10/26/2005

Strike Bethesda is a good place for a date or somewhere to go just for fun. It is an upscale bowling alley. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is a nice change. The location is wonderful around a lot of bars and restaurants. Food is average, prices are reasonable to slightly expensive and it is metro accessible. more

Pretty Nice Bowling Alley 9/10/2005

Attended a birthday party here. The staff was nice, alley was clean and spacious. No complaints, just not all that spectacular. more

good bowling 8/18/2005

Strike Bethesda recently renovated and upscaled. What once used to be a family friendly bowling alley is now a combination club, bar, and alley. Kids aren't allowed in past (I think) 7 PM, so birthday parties are kind of out at this place. Growing more expensive too, they have large televisions for those bored moments. Still nice bowling and equipment. So so, but the only place around. more

Great Bowling Alley 8/13/2005

This bowling alley is a great place to hang out with friends. You can also set up special events, like a birthday party, corporate outing, etc. The decor is very trendy, updated and funky (there's another one in NYC). They have great music and food. In the past, the place was really loud. On certain days, they have specials and discounts so check out the website of call. This is definitely not your parents' bowling alley. more

A nightclub in a bowling alley 8/9/2005

Okay so this may sound like a good idea for the young 20 something generation (which I am a member of) but for me it's over-rated. If you're single maybe it's the place to go on a weeknight when you have nothing better to do. If you are past your single life days you probably won't enjoy it as much. They have better than average food and a full service bar. The best bet is to go on Monday nights, Night Strike, a 21-and-over, late-night bowling rave. Cover for the entire evening is $15 for unlimited bowling and shoe rental. This can turn into an expensive night out if you don't watch your wallet. more
