I don't have enough superlatives for Scotts work and attitud 2/5/2010

After several rounds of getting our venue photographed from a variety of photographers...the end result always left us deflated. The venue is a beautiful nightclub, bar and event venue. For some reason the pictures just never showed the space as well as it was in person. Scott is a master at this. We are all so pleased with the photos and they have already been a huge help in providing the best sales tools ever. In addition to his talents as a photographer, Scott is just one of the nicest guys who has a great work ethic (he's with you until he knows he has the shots you want... didn't 'punch a time clock') - that's very appreciated. Incredibly professional, great to work with, talented and willing to work with a budget. Who could ask for more!!?? Pros: The Best Photog we've worked with more

Last Minute Assignment - First Rate Performance! 1/4/2010

As communication director for Curry College in Milton, MA (just south of Boston), I recently found SGM Photography through an online serarch for New York Event Photography. When a previous plan didn't work out, I needed to schedule a last minute assignment for an important alumni/development event the next evening in NYC - but the coverage still had to be first rate. Scott promptly returned my inquiry call. Lucky for me, he had availability when I needed it. After conversation and review of his fantastic online portfolio , it seemed like SGM Photography would be a great fit and I booked the assignment. Though I wasn't personally on site at the event, my boss reported that he had a great rapport with Scott and that he was pleased with how Scott worked the crowd and the event. The photos delivered were top notch in terms of both image quality and image content. From candids to posed groups, the images told the story of the evening and made our constituents shine! I look forward to continued engagements with Scott for our future New York event photography needs, and highly recommend him to any online prospects. more

The WOW Factor! 11/16/2009

I hired SGM Photography, thru recommendation, to photo shoot projects our company has completed. We are union Glazing Specialits installing high end architectural glass products in the most desirable real estate properties in the New York area. After initally speaking with Scott, I thought he could achieve the look we desired. Although I never imagined how amazing Scott and his photographs could capture the look I was tring to achieve. The pictures of our products and installations are gorgeous but are heightened thru Scott's creative flair to details. He is a pleasure to work with and is very accomodating on all levels. Fantastic Event Photographer! 11/12/2009

I own a company based out of Chicago. Three years ago we were in search of a reliable event photographer in NY. We heard about SGM photography through word of mouth. We now call upon Scott Morris once every year to photograph our annual holiday award ceremony in New York. Every year the results keep getting better! He has a way with people, and always gets them to smile for the camera. Scott also has a remarkable way of capturing people socializing at just the right moments for the perfect candid shot. Excellent Construction/Architectural Photographer 6/29/2009

We hired SGM to photograph a few construction projects we recently completed in New York City. We are extremely happy with the results SGM has produced, and we will be using Scott to photograph all of our construction projects in NY going forward. As an example of his professionalism one our client's was so impressed with the way Scott handled our pictures, they hired him directly to photograph their ribbon cutting ceremony. Highly Recommended Interior Photographer. 5/4/2009

As an established woodworking company it was imperative to have accurate and detailed photographs of our completed projects to show the nature of our work and what we do. Following several interviews in our search for a qualified and affordable Interior photographer in the New York area, we finally encountered SGM Photography. We are pleased to say that we have been working with Scott at SGM Photography since July 2007 and continue to work with him on an ongoing basis. Scott has photographed many of our interior projects located in New York City as well as Connecticut, and New Jersey. OUTSTANDING New York Photographer 3/24/2009

Scott recently did a shoot for a client of mine in New York who is selling beautiful handcrafted jewelry from India. His photos are OUTRAGEOUSLY GORGEOUS. Each piece is a miniature masterpiece and Scott?s exceptional skill with product photography revealed the character and craftsmanship of each item of jewelry in ways not obvious to the ordinary eye. He was fun and easy to work with ? enthusiastic, professional and accommodating. He made himself available to meet our schedule, worked hard to make each shot perfect, collaborated to provide exactly what my client wanted and brought his highly artistic sensibility to each and every photo. Best New York Photographer 3/9/2009

Scott recently took some photos for me and my now husband to celebrate our engagement in New York. They came out stunning! I am very un-photogenic but with his photos I looked amazing! All thanks to him!!! They are stunning and will be a time piece for our live together forever! Scott is extremely talented photographer and also very professional. We went to Central Park in New York and in no time he compiled a beautiful portfolio for us. We are eternally grateful Scott!!!! more

GREAT photographer! 3/2/2009

I am a residential interior designer in Dallas, Texas. I recently worked on a project in Manhattan by Lincoln Center and needed it photographed. After reading all of the great reviews of Scott's work on this site and talking to him, I chose him to photograph the project. I am so happy about that decision! Scott has a great eye for seeing the picture potential in any given space and capturing that picture in just the right way. His knowledge of how external factors such as temperature and humidity effect the sky's colors and react with the interior photography, was amazing! With this knowledge, Scott timed the photography perfectly to get the most beautiful pictures! Great photographer and a pleasure to work with!!! I was looking for a photographer in New York to take pictures of my jewelry line. I found Scott Morris and made an appointment for a consultation. After seeing his work I knew he was the one I wanted to use. He knew what I wanted, and that was to bring my product to life. I was amazed when I saw the end result. WOW!! Scott has photographed our tanning salon in the city a few weeks ago. He did an amazing job. He is an amazing photographer. He captured the whole salon, the furniture, the products and the beds so beautifully and in a very detailed manner. He was very professional, friendly and very affordable. He has photographed our other salon in Queens as well. He photographed everything several times using different lighting in order to get the pictures right. It was a pleasure working with Scott that day. I recommend him very highly!!! Cannot wait to do more projects with him.... After reading his praises here on City Search, we hired Scott to photograph a housing facility we just completed. Scott was fantastic. He beautifully captured the interiors and architecture of our building (a brownstone in Harlem) in a way that reflects our core philosophy - that these apartments are more than just a place to live; they are homes for our clients to rebuild their lives. The best damn picture in town 9/18/2008

SGM Photography came into my salon with a vision and that vision came to life the day I saw the pictures. Very talented, has his own vision and gives you idea?s every step of the way. Great interior restaurant photography 3/18/2008

We have had our restaurant, Mulino's, located in Westchester, NY for 15 years. When it comes to photography, either we had bad luck or it is really tough to find a good one. They all took pictures...but then again so can anyone. We have spent endless amounts of money on interior design to build what is a comfortable and elegant dining room. The photos taken were never able to show that experience. We were constantly searching for a great photographer. FINALLY, I was referred to Scott who was able to capture the beauty and elegance of our hard work. He knew exactly what we wanted and set out to achieve it no matter what. He certainly takes his work seriously and I would recommend him to anyone. more
