Shop Anywhere Else 3/6/2018

Do not waste your time. This establishment is an absolute joke. We called Rydell on Thursday to set up an appointment to purchase a vehicle we found online. The sales rep (Craig Croaker) said the vehicle was unavailable at the time because it was brand new to them and still under inspection, so we were instructed to call first thing in the morning so they could get us an appointment to see it. We called right at Rydell’s opening time (8 a.m.) Friday. Croaker asked us to come in at 11. We were on time, (not to mention we paid a babysitter to ensure the process went as timely and smoothly as possible) only to have him tell us there was a “problem”. The problem turned out to be that another sales rep had set up an appointment for someone else to see the vehicle, and according to Rydell management (Ben Knudson), “hidden” (his words) not only the keys, but also the vehicle. No one was able to tell me exactly what that meant. Despite the other party’s appointment not being until 12:30PM, we were not allowed to see the vehicle Rydell had scheduled us an appointment to see. I asked what we could have done differently or what they recommend shoppers do to avoid this mishap. Knudson tells me “this happens” and “with 30+ salesmen, it actually happens at least once every 3 months”. Actual quotes. Kathy Lind, the customer service manager, followed up by calling my husband (unsolicited) many hours later on Friday, saying she was told about the situation by Knudson and was “embarrassed” and “shocked” to hear that this had happened, telling us she’s never heard of it happening to anyone. However, the dealership did nothing to rectify the situation. Kathy offered an unsatisfactory deal on a vehicle we had no interest in. We followed up with a counter offer (that would have cost dealership less than $1,000; we certainly weren’t asking for a free vehicle.) and were promised a call on Monday. We waited all day for a call that never came. Now another day is half over, and no response from Rydell. Unreal. more

Envooy Purchase 12/18/2010

On the 26th of Nov we went to Rydell to purchase a Trailblazer. I spoke to Athony Michael. Someone was purchasing the Blazer I was looking at. We looked at other vehicles as the Blazer was sold. We found a either an 02 or 00 white Envoy. It was stuck in the snow but Anthony wanted me to come back the following Wednesday to test drive it. That vehicle also was sold. Anthony did some research for other vehicles per the right type of vehicle and dollar amount. He found the perfect vehicle for me. It is a 2004 GMC Envoy. We test drove it and I loved it. I really wanted this vechicle and along with Anthony and your finance dept I was able to purchase the vechicle. I was not able to drive it home that night so Anthony met me in Warren, MN with a fully gased Envoy. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and Anthony was an awesome salesman. He did not try to sell me something I didint want or need. I would definately do business with him again. Derrick Kuznia more

Rydell Chevrolet is Highly Recommend for your next Car or Truck purchase, not only do you get a no pressure service, but you get the rock bottom prices all the time, everytime! Go check out the newly built new dealership that is still going up as I post this review. It is really turning out nice and in my opinion will greatly improve the look from that of the old building that was there. They are tearing that one down to make way for the new one. Still the same great dealership, just a brand new building so they can better serve everyone. more
