A Fabulous Find!!! 7/31/2009

What a fabulous place! I read the reviews and decided to form my own opinion and I must say, I'm so glad I went! Even though it is located a little off the main road and in an old mill building (in an old, historical part of town), the fabric and trim selections were fantastic! I've been looking for Homespun Fabrics for awhile now and have gone to 4 JoAnn Stores, and a few other fabric stores and found little selection to choose from. I will definitely make this my number one place to go for fabric from now on! more

Poor 1/31/2009

I had not been to the Ryco factory outlet in a few years, and I was expecting what your description says, craft things, and lots of stuff to make party favors, etc. They have transformed. There is no longer any craft section. There is still any ribbon you can imagine, and they have expanded their fabric to include lots of calico and quilting supplies, along with general sewing supplies. But I'm planning a wedding, and I just did a loop through the store and left. more

A hidden gem 1/20/2009

Ryco is the best place for ribbons, cheap, high quality and so much selection. The are out of the way but it is because the store is in a factory. I've bought ribbons, craft supplies trim and fabric from Ryco over the years. I don't live nearby anymore and the last time I was in tehy told me I could call in an order and they will ship it to me anywhere in the world. I will be shopping here for my wedding supplies! Ryco may not be about customer service but the women are friendly and knowledgeable not like the random high school students who work at the major chain stores. They also offer classes but I've never taken one. more

RYCO'S DEMISE 4/26/2008

Since the flood that happened to this outlet two and one half years ago, 3/4 of the store has been walled up and they no longer carry craft supplies. Their only focus at this time is fabric, trims, and ribbons. They are sorely missed. more

Although the new place is under construction , therefore noisy, the selections are good and organized. I must comment on the staffs ättitude"while visiting there recently. I was not addressed in a very pleasant manner when I approached with a question for help in finding a particular item....I was told to "look around/can't help you". Another person scolded me for bringing in a drink ( the sign was posted on the inside of the door ....could only see it when exiting the building). As I wandered around,no one asked if I needed any help. Yes it was busy, yes it was noisy. I will not return...Joanne Fabrics just opened new spacious store in Mass. I was greeted with pleasant smiles,a map and asked several times if I needed any help. It will be worth the extra distance for some common courtesy. Joanne fabric shopper from Cumberland more

Amazing selection! 4/3/2006

A friend of mine warned me that Ryco was located in a “sketchy” area – she was right! But, don’t let the run-down surroundings keep you from checking out this hidden gem. Inside the old mill-building, craft aficionados will find hundreds of bolts of fabric, countless spools of ribbons and trims and every kind of sewing notion imaginable. As a quilter, I was especially pleased with their array of fabrics. Ryco stocks a huge selection of prints, batiks, solids, and marbles in every color of the rainbow. They even have a decent selection of flannel fabric – a kind of fabric many retailers shortchange. more

Good products 12/8/2005

A little expensive but worth the drive. I needed a few products and they had all of it. I would definatly go back to this place if i ever needed something else with fabric or such. Their products were good quality and the employee was an older nice women whom i enjoyed chatting with. more

They have tons of wedding shower/baby shower favors too! It is a little out of the way but worth every minute. Prices are dirt cheap! I lived here when I was planning my wedding. more
