Ruth's Chris Steak House

My family and went to this place on July 8.the place was very clean and the staff was very nice.the food was good. I ordered a chicken and broccoli.the only thing u have to worry about is the prices.we had a great time.i recommend this place to everyone more

I have had MUCH better filet's at Jesse's in Brandon, and the Ranch House on Gandy. I am a HUGE fillet lover...that's just about the only thing I will order at any restaurant...but was NOT real impressed for the cost of my fillet, coke, and 3 asparagus tips I got. My meal totaled over $100 alone! The fillet was on the small side and honestly, I couldn't say it was over the top delicious! There are only 2 "real fancy" steakhouses here in Tampa. Ruth's Chris and Burns. I have not eaten at Burns, but was not impressed with R.C. For the cost, you can get a much better steak (and sides and drinks) elsewhere. If you REALLY must impress a date (which is sad in the first place), I guess going here wouldn't be bad. But I wouldn't go back. My mom and 2 other sisters went also and were not impressed. It was mothers day. Out of the 4 of us, all 4 said we won't be back. We spent $600 for the 4 of us to eat, and were all starving when we left and had to stop at McDonald's! more

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse has always been known as top of the line dining. The steaks they offer are very flavorfull and melt in your mouth especially the Filet Minon. They offer a nice variety of side dishes too with a unique twist on the norm. The service staff makes you feel as if you are the only guest in the restaurant and the prices not be cheap but it is worth it . more

They really are great steaks. But my favorite thing at Ruth Chris is this sweet potato mouse that they have as aside item. I have never tasted anything so wonderful in all of my life. It was amazing! But back to the steak, the food is comparable, some say better, than Bern's Steak House in South Tampa. I haven't been to Bern's but I can tell you that I have never had a better steak than at Ruth Chris. more

My husband surprised me on my 40th birthday by taking me to Ruth’s Chris. Honestly I can tell you that this was the single most wonderful overall dining experience of my life! I say experience because when you dine there you are experiencing more than just excellent food, you are in for royal treatment. The food is outstanding and the service impeccable! more
