I walked up to the hostess who was on the phone and stood there for about ten minutes until she finished.I gave the hostess my name and told her I understood they were not ready to seat yet so I would wait in the bar right next to the area where the hostess was. As time passed I noticed that the hostess and a waitres would look over my direction and after wispering to each other start to laugh. I sat there watching this activity for nearly an hour (remember, I was only a few minutes early for dinner). I watched the hostess seat friends of hers who walked in and ask if they had a table available and she would seat them right away. So from the bar I called the hotel and they sent me to another steak house two blocks away where I got top notch service. Pros: decor Cons: hostess are rude, don't value customers, over priced more

Quite Delectable! 12/4/2002

Ruth's Chris is always a pleasant experience. They offer valet parking and are good about honoring your reservations. You can enjoy time with the family or a romantic evening with a significant other but you might not want to take a first date here unless you like to move things along quickly. Giant steak comes out sizzling and is so juicy to order steak sauce is a sin. Order the cream spinach for an side and you will bep leased. Pros: great food, great service, valet parking more

Big Steak, Big Price, but Satasfied 8/4/2002

By far the best piece of meat I have ever had in my mouth. The largest salad I have ever ate ( 1/2 a head of lettuce). The bigest steak fries I have ever seen ( 1/6 a potato ). WORTH EVERY PENNY! 7/23/2002

My wife and I have been to about five of the top rated steak-houses and I loved Ruth's Chris Steak House hands down. Our meal and service were excellent. I have been searching the city for the perfect ribeye and I think I have found it. Our waiter also looked up the times of the movie we were seeing later. The total experience was top-notch. I love going to Ruth's Chris. I always get their delicious cowboy ribeye that leaves you unbuckling the belt. I know its more pricey than TX land & cattle, but I'd rather spend the extra $10 to get a steak that I know will satisfy my urge. I NEED IT MAN, BACK OFF!!!!! more
