Grandparents Anniversary 6/30/2010

I would like to thank the management and staff at Ruthie D's for an amazing dining experience. In addition for an attentive staff, Chef Andre created an authentic German dish for my Grandmother who was born and raised in Germany. I can't remotely agree with the bad comments posted on this site regarding "barking staff" or "horrible experience." As a fellow employee of the local service industry, I would only feel comfortable saying Ruthie D's offers the cleanest and most professional service I have received at the Lake. Unfortunately, some customers are impossible to please. I can only say thank you and share my thoughts on a wonderful dinner and service! Keep doing what you're doing there! We appreciated everything done for our group! more

One of my favorites!! 6/13/2010

Ruthie D's is one of my favorite restaurants at the lake! Every time I go the food is fantastic and the employees are friendly. The bar is great too! They have happy hour and you can order off the full menu! It's a great bar to hang out at and have a few drinks. If you are looking for a relaxing and enjoyable evening I suggest you check them out! ps and its kid friendly so bring the whole family! more

Poor service. Side show barker server barked out specials and prices from front of room serving our group of 35. Slow delivery....several entrees served cold....no seconds on beverages....This group will not be coming back nor will I individually! more

Great Service! 6/16/2005

I recently went and ate dinner with my family at a fairly newer restaurant called Ruthie D's, and had a wonderful experience. It is one of the most beautiful restaurants we have ever seen. It sits over the lake and gives you such a wonderful sight to see while you eat! The service was excellent, we were greeted with enthusiastic smiles and good attitudes. Not only was the service wonderful, their food was delicious! I personally had the blackened grouper which was cooked perfectly. Yum! My mom had ordered the salmon which she said was delicious. Other things were ordered and just were just as good! A great find! Highly recommended! more
