Damn Good Pizza but over priced. The service was horrible I ordered ahead and waited an hour in a half. I will go back for the pizza but to hell with the service

This was my friend's choice for her birthday lunch. Our total was $26.50 for two calzones and an appetizer of bread and cheese dip, with water to drink. The bread of the calzone was absolutely delicious and was obviously very fresh and made when I ordered it. They are large enough that they can be shared. Seating is tight, about 5 booths and a counter with stools in the whole place. We got the last booth and some customers who came in after us had to wait. All in all, it was a good experience. more

Favorite restaurant of all time! 2/2/2011

This is one of my favorite restaurants of all times. I have been going here for about 7 years now. They have the BEST killer cheese dip I have ever had and their buffalo chicken pizza is to die for. I have always had great service every time I have been there. The restaurant is small but very cozy and clean. Sometimes you have to wait if they are full but it is definitely worth the wait. more

Try the killer cheese dip! 1/11/2008

I am not a huge fan of pizza but I crave the Rusted Sun. I LOVE their killer cheese dip. The dip contains mozzarella, Romano and cream cheeses blended with sun-dried tomatoes, spinach and artichoke hearts. I also love the pesto chicken pizza. This pizza comes with mozzarella, chicken, artichoke hearts, red onion, pine nuts and the pesto sauce. There isn?t a lot of room inside this restaurant and sometimes it gets very crowded and the service can be a little slow but I keep going back for that addictive dip! The food is great if you can actually get it. Orders have been messed up more than once. Not convenient for work lunches. Take out orders often denied. Staff can be rude. more

Great pizza but iffy service 3/26/2007

The pizza really is the best in town - I love it - but their service can be really bad. Recently on a Sunday night they decided they were not interested in doing takeout orders so they just took the phone off the hook for the whole evening. We drove by and saw they were open (we live very close) and went in to try to place an order and practically had to beg them to take our order. I appreciate taking care of your customers in the restaurant first, but when you only have 5 or 6 tables, it gave the impression to everyone in our party that they were just being lazy. the pizza was very good. The price seemed a little high. The chicken wings were chunks of skinless chicken with frands red hot. These tasted good but not your normal chicken wing. Service was great... Pros: great pizza more

Best Pizza in Utah (NY Style) 6/28/2006

This is just like a thin slice of New York City pizza. I have ate at about every pizza place in Utah and quite a few in New York. This is the best pizza in Utah go give it a try. Pros: Best Pizza Cons: Small place and need to open more around the Valley more

no specials, no deliveries but worth the touble. It is the best pizza in salt lake city. I am from chicago and know pizza. This pizza is amazing. At first it looks like there is not enough cheese but it is the right proportion on cheese. Trust me, try it you will never go back! more

All hail the pizza gods, they have choosen their temple, and the Rusted Sun is it. After trying nearly all the rest, I've found the best! The real deal! Not some stuft crust abomination doing the backstroke in grease. I can bring a date or, sit at the counter and have a beer and watch the game with friends. I love this place! Just a short blurb about the best Pizza I've tasted west of the Mississippi. The pizza has taste, the service is excellent, the serving staff has a great attitude.
