Ruby?s Resort is misrepresented by their webpage and was a huge disappointment. This campground is in a beautiful area, but due to management neglect, this place was sadly in need of some attention. They advertise flush toilets and showers. The bathrooms were in a very rustic shack that had weeds growing all around it. If you didn?t look close enough, you would have thought this was a shack to house mowing equipment. In the women?s bathroom, there were two toilets, one of which was plugged up and over flowing upon our arrival ? the other stall did not have toilet paper. Not only did it not have toilet paper for the whole weekend, the bathroom was not cleaned the whole weekend we were there. The men?s bathroom was in the same condition. The shower, if you can call it that, was hot, but barely trickled out of the shower head. The management of the grounds had rented the picnic area to a family for some kind of get together and told us they would be performing karaoke until 10:00 p.m. Not only did the management let this party get way out of hand, they did not attempt to stop the awful, loud, drunken noise these people were making. Only when the police arrived at just after mid-night, did the party break up somewhat. When we tried to find the camp management, they did not answer the phone or their door. Ruby?s advertises on its webpage, that they are ?committed to safe wholesome family outdoor fun?. There was nothing wholesome about what they allowed to take place. The website also states ?Public drunkenness and abusive behavior are not tolerated.? Public drunkenness was not only tolerated, but seemed to be encouraged by lack of management interference.\r
Don?t waste your money on this one.\r
