This place has gone downhill. The stuff is cute, but they've gotten a lot more cheap stuff lately that they charge way too much for. Don't think this place will last too long. They have accessories like purses and jewelry and shoes, and then they also have some more trendy clothes. The jewelry is the standard costume chandelier earrings and stuff, but they are far overpriced for the quality, you can get this type of stuff at Claire's. more

ok at first 8/19/2005

The first time i went here i thought it was really cool. But the past few times i wasn't impressed at all. They have really gone down hill since they first opened. Now they just sell really crapy expensive junk. They had some cool watches and bags there at first. But lately they have just have had expensive crapy made junk. If you have never been here i would'nt waste your time in going in. more

Ruby... its ok 8/4/2005

Ruby was pretty neat at first. its a little boutique place in a fancy shoppign center on university. at first they seemed to be pretty original, but after a while they seem to be just reselling cheap junk. i dont honestly know how they are surviving in such an upscale area. but then again, i know i started going less and less, maybe everyone else did too. i think they are attracting more of a high school- middle school crowd now rather than the tcu crowd they started out with. i bought a cute pair of earrings and they fell apart within a few weeks. i paid about $20, which i feel was too much considering the quality. more

They have an entire wall of flip-flops, which you can never have too many of, and lots of bracelets, sunglasses, tank tops, etc. A fun little boutique, and a very friendly staff. If you look in the back of the shop, there are always many items on sale. more

Cute stuff! 6/17/2005

Ruby is a good place to look for a gift for someone hard to shop for. I really like the large selection of flip-flops. They also have a very nice selection of accessories that you can't really find elsewhere. It's easy to tell that the owner (a woman NOT named Ruby; I asked) really enjoys going to market and picking out the fun stuff offered at Ruby. It's great to see an independent boutique have such success, so I support them when I can. more
