We recently stopped at the Royal Gorge on our vacation to Colorado. The scenery will take your breath away and so will the price of admission. It was $21 per person, and with the four of us, this certainly took a big bite of our vacation stash. There are a lot of places to visit in Colorado, such as Mesa Verde National Park, Four Corners, Aztec Ruins, Crested Butte and the Monarch Pass. None came close to the cost of the Royal Gorge. Colorado is a beautiful state and I encourage everyone to visit at some time. As for the Royal Gorge, just drive on by. more

a must see 8/14/2005

The Royal Gorge Bridge and Park is incredible. A fantastic view, a huge gift shop, and several different rides to choose from make this a great family outing. There are always deer in the park, so you can get some good pictures. With all it has to offer, the price of admission still seems a little high to me. more

Pricey, but worth it! 7/2/2005

The royal Gorge is a great place to visit. It is a bit pricey, about 20 dollars per person, but it includes almost everything they offer there, a petting zoo, a historical movie, the gondola, and the train that takes you to the bottom of the gorge. It is a lot of fun for the family, and it's a beautiful place to go! You can also go rafting underneath the bridge. I definitely think everyone who lives in Colorado should visit it at least once. more
