Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

I call Roto-Rooter on Thursday to help with a leaky faucet and a toliet that was leaking. Chris came out and was wonderful. He assessed the situation very quickely and went straight to work. He also fixed my leaky faucet at no charge because there really wasn't anything wrong, just something not sitting right. Which I would have never been able to figure out. He was extremely friendly and professional. I really appreciate the time he took with me. He had shared he had just found out a few hours before hand about a death in his family and he was still extremely professional and diligent in fixing my issue. I will use Roto- Rooter again and recommend them. In fact I have already recommended them to a friend on Facebook!. more

On Saturday February 15, 2014, with 6 to 10 inches of snow in Cincinnati, our main sewage drain line was clogged. Called Roto-Rooter at 5:30 pm Saturday evening, and was hoping to get someone to the house at least by Sunday morning ( or possibly Monday!?). I explained our plumbing problem, and Roto-Rooter said they would have someone at our house within 35 to 45 minutes! What a pleasant surprise when 40 minutes later Roto-Rooter's plumber Brian pulled in the driveway. After putting protective booties (operating room booties?) on, Brian surveyed the pipes and drains and conducted a couple tests to determine where the clog was located in the main drain pipe.\r \r Brian quickly augured the sewage drain line, ran plenty of water through the system, checked that toilets flushed easily through the drain pipe, then re-augured the pipe. He must have cleaned everything, because no mess remained.\r \r He also volunteered some great advice about our sump pump; how it and the backup system worked, how old the backup batteries were, and recommended (with no sales pressure) that the batteries should probably be replaced due to age.\r \r Total time was about 2 hours, including diagnostics, repair cleanup and billing. But that sure beats having to drive to the gas station to use their restrooms over the weekend!!\r \r We were very happy with the timely service, received the online $50 discount, learned a great amount about the houses plumbing drain system, and we also got a 6 MONTH GUARANTEE on the repair. We have used Roto-Rooter several times in the past few years and have always received great service from them. Today was no exception. We called them early this morning to fix a stopped up toilet and repair the faucet on the kitchen sink. In spite of the 5 in. of snow we had last night, the plumber (Russel L.) was at our home within a couple of hours. He was courteous and very professional. He explained the problem in detail, gave us an estimate, and went right to work to fix the toilet and sink. Once again, we were very pleased with Roto Rooter and with the plumber they sent. more

They came up to Lebanon, OH very quickly after my husband called about our kitchen drain being clogged. They were friendly and went straight to business. They took care of it and were careful to clean up any mess. more

A bathtub in one of by 4-unit apartments did not drain, called Roto-Rooter and scheduled an appointment. They cleared the drain and found that the drain pipe under the tub has cracked. They fixed the clog and the drain pipe and everything works great now. David was very kind and curtious, and I will request him for my next plumbing issue. more

Our gas water heater sprung a leak on a Friday night, February 7, 2014. I called Roto-Rooter Plumbers that evening. They were very professional and offered any 3 hour window of time I wanted on Saturday February 8th. Dispatch called me 30 minutes before the technician Kevin would arrive. He got there right at the beginning of my 3 hour window. He diagnosed the problem, left to get a new water heater and returned promptly. He protected the entire path to the water heater, hauled out the old one, hauled in the new one, finished within the time he promised, and cleaned up after himself. I was very pleased with the entire service experience including the price (quoted upfront and not changed at the end). more

Problem was a slow sewer line and needed a technician to snake the line. I chose Roto-Rooter because they offered a free estimate unlike the other companies I called. I was a bit nervous calling Roto-rooter because I expected them to be very expensive. The technician that did the service call was very professional, quick and the cost was very reasonable. Overall, my experience with Roto-Rooter was very good. Apparently very busy, the technician was not able to respond to my job until the following day and 2.5 hours after the service time frame indicated by the customer service call line; however, once in my home, the technician (Eric) proved effective, personable, and proficient. He was able to unclog my sink within 30 minutes of initiating the job and left my kitchen in the same manner in which it was found. I would both recommend as well as use this company again. more
