Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

I am a rather new customer and I have been very impressed with the consideration I received upon calling for service. After setting a day and time for service call, I was told I had a 8-10 window. As I waited, I was called that the service man was delayed at his last call, but would call me on his way to my address....and he did. He was friendly and went right to work on a kitchen sink leak and kept me informed as to what needed to be done. When the work was done, he again showed me that the drain work was completed, but showed me how slow the water was going down the drain. Decision time--should I wait? or ask if he could snake out the line to see what was causing the blockage? I asked if he could do that work while he was on site. Yes, he could and the electric snake went to work and finally the blockage was cleared and we both watched as the water ran down the drain rapidly! He cleaned up the area under the sink and put things back ion the shelf. I was very satisfied with the work and how quickly everything was taken care of from phone call to work done with skill and courtesy. My last call to Roto Rooter earlier in the summer was the same except with a different plumber replacing a toilet. I will remain a Roto-Rooter ""Rooter"". Lilamae Mueller more

Just moved into our house a week ago. Supposedly the old owners pumped the septic before we moved in??? We had a septic backup only being in the house 7 days - we called Roto Rooter and they were there in 30 minutes - nice, friendly and helpful! We would definitely call them again!! They Rock! more

Sewer line was clogged on a Sunday and sewage started backing up into the basement. Roto-Rooter made it to our house in less than an hour. Andy, the plumber for our job, was great. He quickly identified the exact problem and explained everything he was doing in words I could understand. After carefully explaining my options to me, he got to work right away and walked me through every step so that I not only understood what he was doing, but also so that I could learn more about my own house's plumbing. I never felt pressured or stupid. Before he left, he made sure that the problem was actually fixed and that I was happy with the solution. He explained the guarantee to me and was really patient with every question I asked. Very genuinely, if I ever have another plumbing or drainage issue, I won't hesitate to call Roto-Rooter. Great company with great staff. Worth every penny! more

My father always taught me to try & fix household problems without calling for assistance. He passed away a few weeks ago & just in the last couple of days, the sewage line clogged beneath the garage floor of my mother's home. Tried everything. Liquid Plumber. Using a plunger. Even a manual snake that only reached so far. In the end, I called Roto-Rooter who had the right equipment & cleared the clog in about 20-30 minutes. The service tech, Mac, was friendly & professional. He also instructed us not to use items like Liquid Plumber in the future as it damages the pipes. Although I couldn't unclog the drain without the equipment Mac had, I think my father would have approved of the kind of company Roto-Rooter is & the folks they hire. Fast, competent service completed by a friendly tech. My mother was in good hands & that was most important to me. more

Eddie (2047) did a wonderful job. I thought I could play plumber and fix a leak in a water pipe going to our main shower upstairs which leaked and ruined my ceiling and bathroom wall. I cut the whole in the wall bought a torch to sweat the pipe because it would be nooooo sweat..... hahaha. Well, I just messed it all up. This was a Saturday evening around 6:00pm. I called Roto-Rooter and they sent Eddie to my house. He didn't have the parts to fix the issue at the time, but he capped the line so we could have water until the part could be purchased. He came back on Tuesday and did a great job replacing the shower valve and the pipes. Looks so good, I might just leave the whole in the wall to show off his work. Everything is fixed and no leak. Eddie and his partner Mike did a great job and bailed me out of a jam so I could have water again. Thanks Eddie and Roto-Rooter. more

After we got back from vacation, we noticed our water heater was leaking. Since the heater was very close to the wall, the leak damaged our dry wall. We called Roto Rooter. Two guys, who came out to give us an estimate, were very professional. They went to the store to pick up our newly purchased water heater, delivered it to our home and installed it the same day. We are very pleased with the service. My only complaint is the following: I noticed two dents in the new water heater (one was about 1 foot long, another was about 1-2 inches long with paint damage). I'm not blaming the Roto rooter installers for the damage, but my spouse seems to think they damaged it while wheeling in since it came brand new in a box. Aside from the dent in the new product, we are very happy with the service performed. more

We called at 11am and a courteous receptionist took the information. Roto rooter service man came am hour later. He provided the service charge information upfront. He cleared the clog under the kitchen sink, cleaned the space and was done in 20 minutes. Very professional job by Danny. I'll use them again. Thank you Roto-rooter.-- vijayB more

I had an amazing experience with roto rooter. Our water bill had been running really high, so decided to call our go to plumber. We had a lot of issues three toilets needed to be rebuilt and one sink had to be rebuilt. Our plumber Dave came out on a Tuesday afternoon, and he came back the next morning to get everything fixed. We live in Cincinnati...45231. We called the first time at 6:30pm on Friday and they offered to come right out. Our situation wasn't an emergency so we scheduled a service call from 10am - 12 on Saturday. We received a call from the dispatcher at 10:50am letting us know they were on their way. The technician arrived at 11:20. He did a great job installing a new kitchen faucet, let the area clean and everything works fine. The technician was professional in all that he didn. He told us up front what it would cost and that is what we were charged. I would recommend this service. more

I had my septic tank pumped. David was very nice, showed me a potential problem, and answered my questions. They were able to schedule a visit right away. When their vehicle needed repaired and they had to reschedule they were very polite and sympathetic. more

We had our main drain back up and called root rooter. They came within a couple hours (it was not an emergency) and had our drain fixed within one hour. They were fast, clean and very helpful in describing the service, why we needed it and what was being done. Would highly recommend!! more

If you don't have a regular plumber, I'd suggest you give Roto-Rooter a try. This past Sunday we called the Cincinnati-area office because of a blocked drain. Our technician Steve explained what he assumed would need to be done to resolve the problem. Even when the job started to get more involved, (i.e. water backing up into other places) Steve never lost his friendly attitude or his good humor. Because of a shared drain-situation with the unit next door, what should have been an approximately three-hour, one-tech job, expanded to a two-day, two-tech near ordeal! Chris came later on Sunday to assist Steve, and on Monday he took charge of correcting our neighbor's situation, and along with his trainee Demetrious, helped Steve finish the original task. The flat rate I was quoted at the beginning was honored throughout, and despite the circumstances, it was very reassuring to have these professionals in my home. I really can't say enough about how grateful we were that this particular team was the one that responded to our emergency. more
