All i will say is Kris Syverson is a spectacular property manager. Incredibly accommodating, patient, & i honestly never worry about a thing knowing she's there. Renting our first house was made so much easier (and more fun!) with her on our side. :) more

Seemed like a fairly decent company. Until we bought our house and were ready to move out. They kept coming back and trying to say the house wasn't clean. Frankly it was cleaner than when I moved in AND they kept $250 for a hair in the sink. Don't use them if you can help it. more

MS ROSS AND COMPANY ARE A GREAT EXAMPLE OF WHY THE REAL ESTATE MARKET TOOK A HUGE DIVE...GREED!...THEY CHARGED US HUGE UPFRONT FEES, WERE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TO WORK WITH AND UPON MOVE OUT, NOT ONLY KEPT ALL DEPOSITS, BUT TRIED TO CHARGE US SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE. The crew at Ross Pacific MGMT have been managing our rental properties for 10 years. They are excellent about communicating tenant needs as well as staying on top of issues. I formerly managed our rentals myself and I know what a difficult job it can be, so I am especially appreciative of their timeliness, honesty, positive attitude and willingness to find win-win solutions for both tenants and landlords. Stay away from this company, you deserve better. We are a professional couple that has had one bad experience after another with Ross Pacific. We encourage you to speak to the owner and listen for the insincerity and disdain in her voice. This is a poorly run company that treats tenants like unruly school children. DO NOT RENT FROM ROSS PACIFIC 2/4/2010

We rented a home from Ross Pacific for over a year and were never late on a payment. We also did everything we could to keep the house in good shape. Unfortunately, in December, we had a pipe burst in the ceiling of the kitchen during a cold spell. We had suspected the pipe to be frozen, so called immediately, and did everything we could to keep it from bursting. Despite this, a huge chunk of the kitchen ceiling came down when it burst, and the kitchen and carpet flooded. When I talked to Ross Pacific (RP), they kept telling me if would only be 3-4 days to repair, so we moved into a hotel. However, 4 days later, they STILL had failed to get someone in there to even clean up the water. When things finally got cleaned up, the contractor told us it would be more like 4 weeks of repairs (the entire kitchen had to be gutted and carpet replaced). RP, however, still tried to keep telling us it would only be a week. Clearly not wanting to wait a month, we told them we would be moving out by the end of Dec. RP tried to tell us that we had to pay them still for the next month's rent because we had not given them 20 days notice! The house was completely uninhabitable with no kitchen, water turned off, and no carpet. We argued this went against WA state law, and they laughed at us and said the law did not apply to this situation. Anyone who has skimmed WA state tenant law knows this is exactly the type of situation to which the law applies. We spent the time digging into the laws, contacted a lawyer, and did our due diligence documenting everything. We got within days of taking RP to small claims court before they finally conceded. When this all started, we tried to be fair, and we were even willing to forgo the rent we had already paid for Dec, even though 3 weeks of Dec we could not be in the home. But given their either ignorant or scam-artist attitude, we were no longer willing to be fair and insisted they reimburse us for any time we were not in the home. I would strongly advise that NO ONE RENT FROM ROSS PACIFIC! They are a bad combination of ignorant of the laws in their own industry and just plain dishonest. Cons: Scam artists at work more

Went from good to BAD 9/16/2009

They have tried to charged me almost $1,000 over my double deposit of $1200 for so called damages to the home. We lived there for two and a half years. I was provided with service receipts when I had to ask. The outside companies used to do certain things were fine. When it came to the breakdown of time and material for their own maint. persons work they did not breakdown time and material for each job and even invoiced the owners part and my part together? Then they wrote all over the invoice owner, tenant and deducted some money off the bottom for the owners part??? Very shady.....I once had a positive review now I have changed my review. We did not have this problem the first time we rented from them. But now thinking about it I did only receive about $85 dollars back out of a $600 dollar deposit and we only lived in that house for six months. Great when your renting from them with maint. issues but upon move out they are horrid! WE DID NOT TEAR UP THE HOUSE TO INCLUDE DAMAGES OF OVER $2,200 THEY ARE CRAZY. We also had two house inspections in the time we lived there and four walk thrus when they were trying to rent the house out the last month we lived there. Fine when you are paying them but they quickly turn on you. Pros: They are fast at fixing things Cons: None really more

Great Home Bad managment 4/28/2009

We had rented a home from them for over A year, had not had one problem , We had never been late on our 1,000+ a month lease payment. But when we decided that we were going to move the agency grew horns and we are going to end up battling. Be very aware that just because it seems good in the beginning it can end in disbelief. Pros: They don't bother you at all (even if you need something) Cons: Don't even think about moving!!! more
