Worst Restaurant I've Ever been to.. 1/31/2011

This restaurant have the worst customer service in town! Took me twice to ask two different people of when they are going to serve our soup and entrees. First, the cashier have no clue of what is on the menu. Second, the chef didn't have a clue of what we ordered (that is the reason why she has not cook any of our ordered entrees!). Third, after waiting for almost an hour, the chef told us they do not have the 5 side dishes that goes with our ""special entrees""! We already ordered and paid for the food up - front. We basically paid an entree costing $13 each and we didn't get half of what it should be! CRAZY! You should shut down your restaurant! The owner (which is I think is the chef) should have given back half of our money because they completely deceived us! They may have fooled so many customers too, who knows? So save your money and go somewhere else! Fool me once and you'll never get another visit from me anymore! more

Unrealized Potential in Cedar Park 4/8/2009

This review is actually for the Cedar Park location, which is open but does not appear in CitySearch as of yet. My wife and I have eaten at the Cedar Park location of Rosie's on 3 different occasions and each time it has been the same. While the food quality is good, the wait time, even for simple dishes, is excessive. Ordering the same or similar dishes at other noodle shops (like Tan My on Ohlen Road) is easily less than half the time of Rosie's. From our home in Williamson County, we can drive to one of the other noodle shops in a more central Austin location, place our order, and have our food in front of us in less time than it takes to get our food at the Rosie's Cedar Park location, which is only 5 minutes or so away from us. The girl who takes the order at the Cedar Park location isn't very friendly either, she could really use some work on her customer relations skills. I get the feeling sometimes that she considers customers to be somewhat of a pain to deal with. As I said, the food is good, but the poor service quality and excessive wait time will prevent us from making any return visits for a while, if at all. I'll monitor this site for improvements in the situation, but if I don't see any, then no biggie - there are plenty of good noodle shops in the Austin area with quicker, friendlier service. Pros: Food is Good Cons: Slow, mediocre to bad service more
