Rosewood Flowers

A close family friend passed away last week. The visitation was last Friday, and the family used Rosewood for the floral arrangements. My family and I decided to order flowers from Rosewood since most of the family had done so. Rosewood was so awesome to deal with! I called around 3:30 in the afternoon and the flowers arrived in plenty of time for the 6:00pm visitation. The two arrangements we ordered were huge and chock full of beautiful fresh flowers!--fresh roses, lilies, birds of paradise--they were amazing. They were both at least two feet tall and very full. I was stunned that such beautiful flowers--and so many of them--were just under $125 total which included tax and delivery to Pasadena. I am sooooo happy to have found a florist who charges amazingly affordable prices for quality flowers and excellent, spot on service. Thank you Rosewood Flowers for making a difficult time easier by your sensitivity and fantastic customer service. I plan to use your company again, and I will recommend you to everyone I know what has floral needs. more

I have been going to Rosewood Nursery for years. It all began as I bought fresh roses for my girlfriend (now wife) years ago. They always took the time and care to provide me the best flowers and wrapped them in beautiful wrapping paper with all the trimmings (baby breath, etc). Since then they have practically supplied all the plants for my patio. A gorgeous ficus, bougainvillea, oleanders, hibiscus, gardenias and orchids. You go to the flower shop after a big shipment comes in and you pick the color of roses you want. Then Sissy tells you what flowers go well with that color. You walk around the freezer telling her what you like for each piece. You tell her how many of each you need (bouts, corsages, bouquets...). Then you pick them up (or have them delivered) on the wedding day. You don't actually know what you are getting until the day, but everything was fantastic. We were very impressed. The cost is absolutely worth it. It was under half of what other florists wanted for smaller packages. Sissy has flat rates for all her pieces. The bridesmaids are 65 no matter how big or small so you just have a ball making them look amazing. Bride's is 85 no matter how big or small ( I did a pretty good size cascading bouquet which was quoted at 200 at other places). Pros: Inexpensive, exactly what you want more

despite the other reviews i can say my family and i had a favorable experience with them. my grandfather passed away this past december. this was a extremely tough time for my family being that his death was unexpected. we used rosewood because they were recommended by family friend's(the funeral home owner). they were really compassionate considering this being a sensative time for us. the arrangements they made and the corsages and bountinerre's were beautiful. i plan on getting married next year and i want to use them for my wedding as well. we used them for many family occasions even before my grandfather's funeral and i would continue to. more

We approached Rosewood Flowers, and Sissy in particular, based on a recommendation from a long-ago customer. But, as of August 2007, things must have changed. Sissy was willing to help us stay in budget, but was determined to do things her own way. My daughter was very clear, even to Sissy, that she did NOT want roses in her wedding due to her own and her fiance's family's sensitivities to the smell. Sissy assured us she would follow our requests and would make my daughter a wonderful bridal bouquet. It was very nice - but full of roses! To top it off, the rest of the flowers for the wedding were not as promised either. So, though we stayed in budget, we certainly didn't get what we ordered and what we did get was of tremendously inferior quality. Corsages and boutonnieres literally fell apart during the ceremony. Unfortunately, we can't go back and redo the event. The wedding is now over and the floral fiasco was the only glitch we have to remember from it because by the time we knew we were being shafted, it was too late to do anything about it. I wish the rating system would let me give less than one full star! more

I mistakenly used Rosewood for my wedding...BIG mistake. The bouquets were not comprised of the flowers I ordered. The arrangements were unsightly, and the flowers were half-dead. DO not use this florist for your wedding. more

I had very bad service at Rosewood flowery. The lady was kind enough to hear what I want. But after I told my budget kind tight, she change her attitude. I asked to have small size to reach my budget. She's never tried to match it. I bought their flowers for wedding couple times but I will never use them!!! Pros: Fresh Cons: bad service more
