amazing 6/20/2009

I moved from Pittsburgh to Columbus Ohio 3 years ago and within the last week I have been CRAVING the Roland's Lobster Sandwich! It's so amazing that 3 years since I last had one, I'm still remembering how good it tastes! more

Seafood 4/1/2006

The restaurant is great. We did have a little bit of trouble parking as it is located in the strip district. The service was great and the selection was tremendous. We had the crab legs and the lobster. The quality of the food was good. They sat us upstairs outside on the deck overlooking the street. It was nice and you could see all the activity in the strip. more

Down at the Strip? Stop in! 12/14/2005

Roland's is in a great location - right in the heart of Pittsburgh's Strip District. They have wonderful seafood specialties. I particularly like the lobster sandwich made on garlic toast. They have patio seating upstairs and downstairs on the street level. They have entertainment and a great wait staff. Always friendly. I admired a Steeler's poster they had hanging on the wall and the bartender gave it to me! If you like seafood you can't go wrong and they usually have a coupon in the Entertainment Book each year.     The real place to be in Roland's is the second level, where there is ample seating, three pool tables, bubble hockey and darts. Rare for this area, there's a balcony that overlooks the Strip. A jukebox cranks out popular rock tunes during the bargain happy hour (5pm-7pm). Live local entertainment is featured upstairs on Fridays and Saturdays, with a nominal cover charge enforced.
