Tex Mex or Mexican 6/30/2009

I have been to roja several times and just have not been able to find anything that leaves me wanting to come back. Prices are high for what you get and service is just ok. more

Confusing 6/25/2009

Rojo advertises as if it is a restaurant but seems to be trying harder to be a bar. The menu is confusing since one assumes the food is "mexican" but it really is some menagerie of tex-mex that many people do not like. There are a few items on the menu that I will order regularly that I enjoy. If I stray from those 2 or 3 items I am not happy with what I get. So if you go, be prepared for a hit and miss dining experience until you find the item you like. more

I am not in the habit of leaving bad reviews but the food here was some of the worst we have ever had. If this is what Omaha calls mexican, tex-mex or whatever, they have a lot to learn about good food. GO VIRGINIA! more

Roja Experience 12/2/2006

Had dinner, and the food was ok and service sucks. We had tacos , the quality of food is good and my kids had nice time. We packed left overs and forgot to pick it up and went out and came back immediately , they already throwed our food out. All it happened within 5 minutes. Can you believe it !!! more

First of all you have to try the marguerita selections. Their margueritas are some of the best we have had. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and are great at making recommendations. Their seafood tacos are unusual, tasty and our family's favorite. Be prepared to spend some time in the bar on a weekend night since this restaurant is very popular and once you taste the wonderful food you can see why everyone enjoys this spot. more

Good food. 9/26/2005

This is a very nice Mexican resturant in west Omaha. The atmosphere is great and the food is very good. The people are always very friendly. Very busy place on Friday and Saturday nights so be sure to call ahead for reservations. Prices are average. Good mexican music playing also. more

Fantastic Dining Experience 8/2/2005

My entire family eats here and everyone is always satisfied from my one and three year old to my teenage boys! The restaurant is HUGE and always busy so you know it is GOOD! They have very interesting menu choices and all are tasty and unique, like nothing else I have ever eaten! The kids menu is reasonable with much to offer. They are a little pricier than most Mexican restaurants, but once you enter you will understand why. It is very cool on the inside, right down to their bathrooms with red walls! more
