Ken Roberts has refused to refund my rental deposit of $625. I finished the lease, paid all rent due, gave notice, and left the property in much better condition than it was in when I moved in. I called his office on seven different days before he finally (25 days after I moved out) returned my call. He said that he was trying to get an estimate on some flooring that was damaged. I told him that the flooring was damaged when I moved in and I wanted my deposit immediately. He argued with me about that until I told him that I have dated pictures to prove it. He promised to return my deposit on Monday, July 30. I called his office on Wednesday, August 1 and his secretary told me that the check would be mailed to my new address by the end of the week. Since then, he has refused to answer my letters or calls.
Cons: Secretary is uninformed. Owner lied to me and stole my money!
