Roberto's pizza is great and their subs are even greater. You can't pass up trying those incredible French fries either, yum! The only thing missing from Roberto's is the customer service. Customers are often made to feel like we are last on their list of ""things to do"" when you stand there for 5 minutes clearing your throat and STILL being ignored. There's all too often little acknowledgement while the guys are making personal calls on their cell phone, or just having a conversation in another language, laughing it up etc...doing everything BUT taking care of the customer. Best thing to do is call in for a pick up and ""take it home"". I think if the ""manager"" is away, the place must fall apart. It is definitely NOT the same Roberto's of the old days when it was the friendliest place to go and everyone was family. But while the food remains the best, I go much less often because of the lack of decent service. Just yesterday I walked out because after 5 minutes of standing at the counter waiting, no other customers in the place, no one took an order or said a word to us. They were too busy in their own conversations and laughter. Only when we walked off and grabbed our coats to leave did someone ask us anything. Too late, we went elsewhere and I do not know when we will bother coming back.
Pros: Great subs, fries and pizza of all sorts.
Cons: Service is less than adequate and often non-existent.
