E.E. Robbins....amazing customer service 4/5/2012

My husband and I bought our rings 8 years ago and our experiences at EE Robbins have all been exceptional. From the start, our salesperson, Kim, was fun and informative and a wonderful guide. The selection is amazing, which makes it hard to choose! Over the years, we?ve purchased bands and earrings from them and whenever we are in town (we live 2 hours away) we stop in for cleanings and check-ups. She always greets us like an old friend and happily takes care of us. When I lost a diamond out of my band, it was replaced for free the same day, and a re-sizing was also that fast. We just popped in last weekend to have our inspection and everyone was so warm and accommodating ? even P.Diddy the puffer fish seemed happy to see us. It is rare now days to have consistent customer service like this and that?s why I am writing. They aren?t just nice when you are spending money, they are nice all of the time. It?s just a warm environment and many of the salespeople have been there for years. I would recommend them highly. more

Exemplary Customer Service at Every Turn 3/24/2012

E.E. Robbins embodies the definition of customer-centered culture, and?though typically not one to post reviews?I feel compelled to share my E.E. Robbins experience. After extensive internet research, I visited my shortlist of potential engagement ring stores in person. Incredible selection of engagement ring options aside, I chose E.E. Robbins because, from the moment I walked in the door, I felt respected and valued. The space was relaxed and inviting, when other jewelers felt either stuffy and intimidating or unprofessional. And, despite browsing for quite a while, not once did I feel a hint of pressure to make a purchase. Already owning a center stone, my fianc? and I decided to entrust the Belltown E.E. Robbins with the creation of a custom setting. Ben guided us through the process and did so with impeccable professionalism and attention to detail. Pure and simple, Ben cared about our experience, and made very effort to ensure the completed ring would meet his high standards and our expectations. Their computer design software and casting equipment is state-of-the-art, definitely on par (or better) than the other custom ring choices around town. Though we worked primarily with Ben, the rest of the E.E. Robbins staff was equally stellar. Their in-house goldsmith, Sanh, deserves special recognition. Working under an unexpected deadline, he prioritized setting the stones to meet our time constraint and produced a flawless finished product. If you are in the market for an engagement ring, wedding band, or would like to design a custom piece, E.E. Robbins should be your first and last stop in the Seattle area. Their combination of amazing selection and commitment to customer service is unmatched, and you?ll be treated like family at every turn. more

Excellent Service 10/16/2010

We had such excellent service when choosing wedding rings with EE Robbins. They offered us something to drink and a snack which right away said they were not going to rush us. We actually went in a few different times trying to make a decision. It was a pressure free environment which is so important when it comes to making these big decisions. I highly recommend them! more

Super 6/18/2010

I got my engagement ring in the Tacoma store but we recently moved closer to Seattle so this is the store we visit now for check ups and cleanings. Everyone here is as nice as they are in Tacoma. I just love coming in and getting greeted like an old friend. They also have necklaces and earrings now, or maybe they did before too and I was just too focused on rings to notice! Everything is beautiful. Continue with the good work EE, you have a customer for life! Pros: Service more

the Cream of the crop!!!!!!!! 10/17/2009

Girls, and guys, shopping for a ring is hard...really hard. I was not looking forward to it. G and I headed out to shop one Saturday and we went to EE Robbins first. Let's talk about the store first...it is really pretty and not stuffy and fancy. Next, the service...they are really nice people, not phony and high pressure. Last, the selection...there are SO many rings and SO many diamonds. It is like heaven for a girl who needs a ring. We did our due diligence there and then went to a few other stores to compare. Well, NO COMPARISON!!!!!!!!!! EE Robbins had the best engagement rigns and the best prices. Yes I said prices! We had thought they were pricey but NO, NO, NO. Anyone who has heard that they are expensive, listen to me they are NOT. We went back and ordered my ring and picked out the very best diamond a girl could have and they set it into a basic little ring so I can wear it while I wait for my real ring to get made. WHoo hooooo! We even went home and did some online comparing and we could not find a better deal. Now it off to find a location and flowers and a dress and a DJ and a................. Pros: Rings, rings rings galore Cons: None!! more

WOW! 9/17/2009

We were wowed the minute we went in. The store is new and very pretty and the staff is welcoming and thoughtful. I thought the whole process would be like buying a car but it was not. They kept it romantic and fun and not that expensive. They have more engagement rings than mall stores and way nicer. We noticed that they have tons of men's rings too -- he is next! Thank you so much EE Robbins for making us happier. Pros: The best selection of engagement & wedding bands more

Best engagement ring store! 5/1/2009

My now husband and I, walked in to EE Robbins in search of my engagement ring. My husband was in quite the crabby mood, assuming that the sales reps were going to be more like car salesmen and try to talk us into something we could not afford. Kara was the first one to greet us, asked if we wanted any water, wine or coffee and left us to look around on our own time. I called her over when I was ready to look at something and it just got better from there. Kara was incredibly informative and patient and funny and just an awesome person and great at what she does. It didn't take long for my husband to calm down and realize that Kara was here to help us with an important decision and make this an enjoyable experiance for the both of us. We looked at a lot of different sets and tried on everything possible before narrowing it down to two. Then once Kara told us that we needed to sit and pick out the diamond, my husband almost had a heart attack when he realized the price didn't include the diamond! LOL He's cheap! Kara only picked out diamonds that kept us in the price limit that we set for ourselves. Different sizes and clarity, she explained the difference between all of them and we could clearly see what makes diamonds so different. At any other store, you would have gotten what was in the glass case and never have known the difference from one diamond to another. I'm a true girl and did not want a ring that 50 other chicks had already tried on, I needed it to be special, and thats what it was at EE Robbins. I finally made a decision on a diamond and let me tell you, til this day I still get compliments on how sparkly and beautiful my ring is. I would definitely recommend to any and all women to go with there Elite diamonds. You won't ever regret it, it is truly beautiful. My husband and I sat and had wine while they cleaned and set the diamond in my ring. We chatted with staff and took our time. It was great! Then they brought out my ring and handed it to my husband. I had never been so giddy in my entire life. My husband took my hand and led me towards the back of the store where they had a little sitting area and a beautiful fish tank by the way. He sat me down as he got down on one knee. My heart was pounding! He took out the ring and proceeded to officially ask for my hand in marriage and this time he had the bling to bank it up. At that time the manager grabbed a polaroid camera and took a picture of my husband kneeling and me almost in tears. Staff congratulated us and from then we proceeded to wrap things up. We were sent home with a bottle of wine, all the specifications on my rings, a record to keep track of when I get my ring checked and cleaned, a gift certificate for my husbands bands and the picture of us to remember that day! I could go on and on about how wonderful everyone was and how special they made that day for us. Kara was fabulous and i will always recommend EE Robbins for anyone that is in search for the best experience and the best quality engagement rings anywhere. Pros: Best customer service in town! Cons: None, they were fabulous! more

Great Place For Engagement Rings!!! 4/19/2009

EE Robins was wonderful! My husband and I got our rings there and had a perfect experience! Chelsea and John were so great! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get engaged! They also had wonderful references for wedding vendors. If you are looking at rings; go and have a glass of wine (or water) and check out there amazing selection! Pros: Great people and beautiful rings!!! Cons: No Drawbacks! more

Over the top service! 4/11/2009

Dreading the task of finding the perfect ring/diamond, I took the advice of a friend and went into the EE Robbins in Belltown. Let's face it, I knew nothing about jewelry. From the moment I steppied in the front door, Kim offered me a Mocha Frap and made me feel as if this was 'the place'. She had the time, and a techno presentation on a computer, to bring me up to speed to be able to make an informed decision. She also helped in choosing the style which helped a ton. They went over the top when they placed the ring in the now famous blue box and wrapped it ...and then gave us a bottle of champagne to celebrate. I recommend this store highly. Pros: I've rarely felt this comfortable Cons: Off the beaten path more

World Class Customer Service and Products 3/25/2009

I first walked into EE Robbins in January 2002 and met Pam Ness. Like most guys shopping for an engagement ring, I was nervous about getting the right stone and setting. Pam made the whole process easy. My future wife worked just up the hill at Restaurant Zoe, so I arranged to have friends pick up the ring to maintain secrecy. Pam accomodated every request and the engagement proposition happened exactly how I hoped it would. Pros: Exceptional products, courteous staff more

Exceded any possible expectation 3/24/2009

My fiancee, son, & I drove down from Oak Harbor because we had heard about their ability to customize rings. John met us and discussed the possibilities of making a reality what we had sketched for my ring. While we were considering this option Chelsea helped my fiancee look for a ring he liked. Pros: Warm caring staff, extensive selection, personable Cons: We havent found any more

unreal attentiveness, choices, comfort level and trustworthy 2/28/2008

Today I have been married for 10 years. This month we upgraded our diamond to ""a real show stopper!"" We love it. We went to EE Robbins because of the customer service and knowldege base. My husband really likes quality in diamonds, the whole clarity, cut, etc., etc. We deal with Mark who has educated us for the last 11 years concerning stones. When we walked in EE Robbins, there was a comfort level. Non-showy yet classy, clean, up-scale store that had refreshments and a very comfortable setting for a very important purchase. I trust what the sales team said, they are educated in the gem world. I am just as giddy about this day as I was my wedding day 10 years ago. I think EE Robbins was too! They were able to supply many choices and once the choice was made, my ring was made within the hour...so sooo beautiful. Thank you Mark and your entire staff for such a memorable experience. MFS Pros: choices, budget help, dream-factor, relaxation Cons: driveway more

It's fun to get diamonds 2/26/2008

I was already very excited to go pick out my engagement ring with my fiance' , but it was better than expected. He had told me he had a great experience and that they encouraged him to get me a solitaire and have us both come into pick something out. What a great suggestion. He was supposedly very nervous about picking the wrong thing. They had so many great styles. We went in and were so pampered and encouraged to relax and have fun with the whole process. He had already done the hard part. Not only did they help us find something I loved in our budget, but they offered us drinks and a snacks. The staff was really attentive. So many people have complimented me on my ring and they always mention how much it sparkles. Which makes my fiance' very happy. But I'm really the one couldn't be happier. We will also be going back to get his ring soon. Pros: service, selection, sparkle more

The best experience ever 2/23/2008

First let me start by saying I am a shopper, so looking for an engagement ring was going to take time and I was going to leave no stone unturned. I went to the malls, thought I would see how good my ""friend"" in the diamond business was (wasn't) and even looked online- no, I'm not stupid and would never spend thousand on something I can't see, touch and compare-but I had to look. When everything was said and done I left one and only one store amazed-E.E. Robbins in Tukwila. I received honest answers to my questions, a diamond education second to none, a huge selection of quality designer rings (they carry alot of platinum which I didnt find anywhere else) and the most impressive part was the customer service. Mark was the most imformative, educated and honest person I encountered in weeks of shopping. He spent A LOT of time making sure I had every question answered and found exactly what I was looking for ( novel, a sales person who listens) and stayed exactly at the price I had given him. Mark didnt say a word about it in the couple hours he spent with me, he was just fantastic, but when he gave me his card I find out he is V.P. of Operations. When I apolagised for taking so much of his time time he responded that there was nothing more important he could be doing than taking care of me. Look no further, you have found your jeweler. Pros: Outstanding service, platinum selection and competetive price Cons: not a single thing more

Great customer service! 12/9/2007

After finding the perfect girl I needed to find the perfect diamond ring. I didn't know where to start, but Chelsea at E.E. Robbins made it easy. Pros: Customer serivce, low pressure more

A comfortable experience 12/3/2007

I wasn't really looking forward to the whole ""ring process"" and was actually a little nervous to go into E.E.Robbins in Belltown. I shouldn't have been. The staff treated me like a friend walking into their living room and I ended up having a really fun experience. I'm very analytical and ask alot of questions, but they were patient and answered everything very intelligently without ever putting any pressure on me to buy. Even though I shop online for almost everything, I didn't want to buy a ring that we will have for the rest of our lives without touching it and picking out the diamond for it. My fiance loves the ring and they sized it for her in an afternoon so she didn't have to go without it for a night. I am so glad that I found a place that is a local business that employs caring knowledgable people, has a great selection and gave me an awesome value on my ring. I will send all of my friends there. more

Best Engagement Ring Store in Seattle!! 11/20/2007

What a great experience. Chelsea was my sales associate and is the best!! She puts no pressure on you to buy even after I made her pull out it seems every ring in the case. I would highly reccomend E.E. Robbins for your engagement ring purchase. more

Great Service, Friendly Staff, No pushing items, They listen and care to your needs and the most important thing is to educate you to get the best item for your beloved. 11/20/2007

I went to EE Robins, not knowing anything about engagement rings or diamonds. EE Robins taught me to look at quality. I became dangerous with knowledge. It is not about the price of the diamond that makes the sale, it is the connection to the ring and diamond that sells. That is how one should by a ring. You must feel and know the ring is right. The sales team are above any sales person I ever encountered before. The owner ( Emerson ) taught the staff to help the customers find the right ring, regardless of price. I have gone to other places and the high price was first pushed then the quality was never that good, so other engagement stores would show me expensive rings of lower quality and push on the sale to the point you had to leave. At EE Robbins, they sat with you; got to know you; then helped you find that perfect ring. I wanted to suprise my wife with the ring, and again did not know anything and the sales people at EE Robbins were very patient with me as I had something to drink ( wine or soda) as they listened carefully to what I had to say and want. The ethics of this company is the basics... The ring sells itself and the connection sales team is only there to educate you. I feel that everyone will get the best quality at EE Robbins. After I proposed to my wife Rebekah, the owner of EE Robbins wanted us to do a commercial for them, as I rented out the Pacific Science Center's Planetarium to propose to her. They even wrote a book on different ways people proposed and we were on there as well. I would never go anywhere else to buy a ring or upgrade on diamonds for my wife as I have truly found the best place in the world.. Great Service, Friendly Staff, No pushing items, They listen and care to your needs and the most important thing is to educate you to get the best item for your beloved. Pros: Great Service, Friendly Staff, No pushing items, They listen and care to your needs and the most important thing is to educate you to get the best item for your beloved. more

One of a kind buying experience! 2/26/2007

What a great experience I had in purchasing my engagement ring from EE Robbins in Seattle! There is enough trepidation involved in trying to plan the perfect engagement without the additional stress and worry of picking out the ring. Thanks to Pam and Jon, the entire process of choosing my ring was stress-free and actually a bit fun. For those people who don't know the first thing about diamonds (me), they take the time to essentially give you a DIAMONDS 101 class on all of the details so you can become an informed buyer. My price range and comfort level was established during my initial visit and I NEVER felt any additional pressure to purchase a diamond out of that range. In fact, I got the sense that they were sincerely interested in helping me choose the perfect diamond moreso than the most expensive one. Aside from the professionalism, customer service, and knowledge of the sales staff the overall ""feel"" of the store was great. From the moment I walked in I was offered water, soda, a snack, or even a glass of wine to enjoy while I looked. Of course, I chose the wine which made things that much more relaxed. Pros: Customer service, knowledge, selection more
