Something for everyone 8/23/2005

Ripley's Believe It Or Not is conveniently located on International Drive next to Pointe Orlando and lots of restaurants. If you are in the area, you can literally spend the entire day here. The exhibits are unique, fun and very time consuming. You should really set aside a couple of hours or so. For the locals who think this is simply a tourist attraction, the top floor is a giant arcade and laser tag arena. It is no admission to enter and i believe $10 for each game of laser tag. Once you drop the kids off, it's walking distance to Pointe Orlando for drinks or clubs. more

Unique attraction unlike any other 8/20/2005

Ripley's is an amazing place to visit. Be sure to spend lots of time here and examine all the amazing artifacts from all over the world. This is NOT an attraction to rush through! Their website states that the average visit lasts one to two hours -- in my opinion, you should spend more time than that if you really want to enjoy everything here! Some of my favorite exhibits are the more 'artistic' pieces - such as the Rolls Royce constructed entirely of matchsticks, or the incredible "paintings" made from dryer lint, or the different models constructed from pennies. But the oddball quirky exhibits are so fascinating too! Ripley's is very reasonably priced, right now at only $16.95 for adults, and you can usually find discount coupons at their website at http://www.ripleysorlando.com Don't pass this one up - it's a must-see! more

Interesting 8/19/2005

Visit Ripley's Believe It or Not, you may just find something interesting for you and your child to do together. I definitely recommend it for the older child. The younger ones just won't understand and some displays are very odd. The admission is a little costly, but it is worth the trip through. I hope you and your family enjoy the funny face mirrors as much as we did. more

Quite intesting stuff 8/18/2005

This place has some interesting exhibits and some you can interact with. I been there twice once when I was younger and a second time when I was a bit older. I could have sworn this place was bigger when I was younger but I guess I must have just forgotten. I am not sure if this place is worth the money but if you have a few hours to kill then I would definitely recommend this place. more

Oddly Interesting.. 7/28/2005

It was quite interesting to go here..but who could pass it up after seeing an a building sinking away into the ground? NOT ME! Walk through and see life size replica's of the world's strangest animals and people. Everywhere you look there is another odditie there. The price is expensive, so take your time and enjoy it. They have coupons on the website that you can print off for a discount, I would do that if you aren't into spending much money. more

An ecclectic assortment for ages 7 - 99 7/18/2005

Ripley's is worth the entrance- everyone has to have seen it once! The building itself is located on I-drive as the locals call it/ International Drive if you're a tourist, right down the road from the waterpark and restaurant row. Ripley's has unique artwork made of found objects, an authentic tattoo on skin (minus the person) and other odd and weird items! Teens find the gift store amusing and a worthwhile place to throw out a few dollars. Keep your eyes posted for coupons in the Entertainment Guide or online. more

Lot's of cool things 6/24/2005

Ripley's Believe it or not has a ton of really cool things. There are optical illusions, shrunken heads, torture devices, and quite a few things you can participate in. The building itself looks like it is in a sinkhole which is pretty neat. The admission price is over $15, but you can usually find a coupon. I would absolutely check it out at least once. more
