Lots of great supplies, but often erratic inventory and extremely rude sales people who know nothing about art 3/31/2006

I have stopped going to Riley Street for the most part just due to the rudeness of most of the staff. There are a few nice, knowledgable people there but mostly you get stuck up high schoolers who think they are Van Gogh incarnant. I have been followed once or twice, and once or twice was very rudely told to leave when it got near closing time. If I go there again I will try my hardest not to ask where anything is because I know that chances are I will get a smarmy little teenager who will mouth off at me and tell me how stupid I am. No thanks. Montgomery Village's art store is much more friendly and inviting. more

what an art supply store should be. 8/3/2005

I really do think they have everything available that has to do with art..They carry quality products. And the staff is knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. They don't follow you all around the store, and that is nice. And about once a year they have a parking lot art show, its small but fun. And they have a great kids art section, for beginners and more advanced kids. more
