She is kinda like a nicer, friendlier, family-practice version of Dr. House: super-smart and experienced with a way of figuring out what's wrong and how to fix it or who to send you to, and even if sometimes she's not always quite as motherly as you might want from your school nurse, she's still kind and I always feel like she's got my best interests in mind. \r
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Richards to friends and family, and have in fact done so already. She is exceedingly knowledgeable (from 32 years as a doc, I guess) and very thorough. The first visit I came in with a VERY long list of stuff (I hadn't been to a doctor for years) and she was very patient & let me go through all of it and helped me see what things might be related and worked with me to make sure my insurance would cover as much as possible (some things I thought they wouldn't cover, but she was able to get them to cover it anyway).
Pros: Knowledgeable, thorough, smart, kind
Cons: Brusque at times, schedule not totally open
