I came into the shop carrying a picture of the haircut I wanted. Long and layered. He chopped off my hair in one cut after putting it up in a pony tail. He thought that was great and said, there's your layers! Less work for him. Now I'm stuck with short hair in the front that I didn't want in my ""long and layered"" look. He didn't listen to my concerns that this short layered look on the front HALF of my head would start to poof, instead he said ""you never know you might grow to like it and next time we'll grow that out huh?"" ""Maybe you should try styling your hair differently?"" I wouldn't have to do that if he'd just listened in the first place and had listened to my concerns.
