This has to be Houston's shopping mecca, what makes Houston one of the best places to shop! The Rice Village has everything from The Gap to Main Street Theater, to The Gingerbread...

Great shopping, eating, and entertainment all in one place! 8/20/2008

Great place to shop, eat, and hang out! All dining is good here EXCEPT Brian O'Niels Irish Pub. They have the WORST service and sub par food. There are many types of resteraunts in this area to satiate the pickiest eaters. You can meet all your shopping needs in one stop here! Great night life in this area after dark too! Pros: Great range of shopping and eating Cons: Parking can be hard to find more

Cons: None!, At!, ALL! more

The Best of the Best 8/23/2002

This is one of the greatest places to shop. The village is more convenient and not as crowded as the Galleria. more

I miss the old Rice Village... 8/14/2002

back before it was a yuppie mall... before Iconography closed and the British Market vanished... even so, there are still cool, funky shops and unique places to eat, and you don't have to look too hard -- the Half Price Books is killer and Europe in the Village has the best Christmas ornaments ever more
