Super delicious! It's the best pizza ever! I've been coming to Ricardo's for pizza since I was a kid, and I am craving it just thinking about it! more

Never going back 7/22/2011

Me and my family went here for dinner once, and are never going back. We arrived one Wednesday evening and were greeted by a rude hostess who seemed like shed rather be anywhere else in the world but working there, and i cant blame her. The waitresses were all incredibly rude, and short. From where we were sitting we could easily hear them bad talking other employees and even other customers! how rude! With all these distractions we weren't even able to enjoy our mediocre pizza. When we received the bill we were appalled by the price. The unfriendly atmosphere, the bad food, and the shockingly outrageous prices are keeping us far from this place ever again! more

Awesome pizza selection!!! 4/9/2010

I have eaten at Ricardo's twice now for the pizza, and have loved it both times! The first time I tried the cheeseburger pizza (which is listed on the menu as an employee favorite). I couldn't have gone wrong with that choise. I highly recommend the cheeseburger pizza!\r \r The second time I went, just about a week ago, and tried their special pizza (not sure if it was special of the day, week, month?), the red potato chicken pizza. I actually asked our server what her recommendation was between the cheeseburger pizza and the red potato chicken pizza and it was difficult for her to decide. She suggested getting the special since the cheeseburger pizza will be available at anytime, so I took that advice and loved my choice!\r \r I definitely can't wait to get back there to try more of their delicious pizzas!\r \r 04/09/2010 more

Best in Greendale! 2/10/2009

When I first moved to Greendale, I ate at Ricardo's with my family. I liked it a lot, but it wasn't until my third visit that I branched out and tried the cheeseburger pizza. Then, it quickly became my favorite restaurant in Greendale, one of my faves in Milwaukee! The cheeseburger pizza sounds weird, but everyone I bring to try it loves it. It tastes just the right amount of ketchupy and even has pickles in it! I also tried the BLT pizza and most of the others, and they're all good! Best pizza! I've never had a problem with the service, but you will probably have to wait, if not for a table, then for your pizza, because it takes a half hour to bake. Pros: Food, service, beer Cons: wait time, size more

Great place, great pizza 10/16/2008

This store is very nice. The atmosphere is very pleasant and is well decorated. We were there for the pizza and they had numerous types of pizza which was a great way to test all the different kinds. They have a cash bar. Wait staff were very efficient and prices were reasonable. Plenty of on site parking. Would recommend. more

Poor Service, Average Food, Rude employees 10/7/2008

Food was extremely late, approximately 45 minutes on a Wednesday night for one pizza. My beer glass was empty for most of it. I was told to ""hold on a sec"" about 10 times from servers too busy to even talk to me (the place was dead, but they had somewhere to go). Pizza was dark on top with undercooked crust, and LOTS of sauce. Appetizer was average(combination basket), but the price was insane. $36 for 1 pizza and 1 app...include the extremely poor service and this is the last place I would ever go to again. Pros: Downtown Greendale is awesome, except for this place. Cons: The staff and food. more

Best Pizza Anywhere. 8/25/2007

I live in California now and cannot find any pizza that compares to Ricardo's. I have eaten at Ricardo's many times and I absolutely love it. I love the thin crust! I have only had pizza and garlic bread, and both are fantastic. I recommend sausage and onion. That is my favorite. You must try this pizza at least once if you live in the area. Pros: Best pizza. Thin crust. Cons: Always busy. more

Love it!!! 8/10/2007

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant and I loved it. I don't expect immediate seating when I go out for dinner, which is nice for this place. It's a cozy place and the atmosphere is ideal. If you are going out for pizza and don't mind a little wait, this is the place! I love that they have take-out because the pizza is wonderful. Our server was very personable and it made the wait tolerable. I wouldn't take a big group, maybe just 5-6 people. I'm definitely going back to this place. Pros: Great atmosphere Cons: Little bit of a wait more

Horrible Service and Plain Food 2/12/2007

We were told this place had a cozy atmosphere and took reservations. Our large party had reservations, but arrived and was split up into multiple tables with no explanation. When a manager was requested we were ignored. Our food was average and not worth the hour plus wait as countless people filed by our tables to get to the take out counter in the back. Drinks were very slow in arriving and no one seemed be in charge. No one cared about our party and after requesting to see a manager 3 times, we were finally given an excuse filled explanation. Stay away or dine at your own risk. I know 12 people who will never be back. Pros: Nice location Cons: Service, Food, People, and Much More more

After all this time you still rock! 5/11/2006

I would hands down give Ricardo's pizza a 20 on a scale of 1-10 By far the best I have ever had. I have had a lot of pizza in my life, but nothing compares to a Ricks pizza I would strongly suggest try one and you will go back and back for another. more

Burgers are even better than the pizza, have never had a bad meal. They don't take reservations, and there may not even be standing room at the bar, so if you have mobility issues, come only after 9 pm. Pros: Great Pizza, Good beer line, Excellent service Cons: , Crowded more

A must eat pizza 8/30/2002

This is the best pizza in the Milwaukee area - period. The crust is thin, but not paper, and the flavor is a cut above. Ricardo's also has a nice variety to choose from in terms of toppings. What I wouldn't do for one of their BLT pizzas out here in Washington DC. Located in the heart of downtown Greendale, it's a nice place for a family meal or a few beers with friends. Pros: Nicely decorated, Great location, Good parking Cons: Pricey more

Best for Thin Crust Afficianados 7/26/2002

A little pricy and always crowded but worth the wait. Best thin crust and best tasting sauce in town. If you don't want the wait--call in for pickup! more

  • Pizza enthusiasts consider Ricardo's one of Milwaukee's best-kept secrets. It's the thin crust and fresh, flavorful toppings. But they don't stop there. Raves also go out for the cooked-to order meat, fish and poultry dishes with hearty portions of pasta, sauces and vegetables. Oak bar with tin ceilings helps augment Old World ambiance, and adds a romantic element to dining at Ricardo's. Casual but popular; dinner reservations suggested.
