Fell Flat 9/12/2008

Planned a romantic dinner for two and was quite underwhelmed. Waiter was a bit arrogant and patronizing. I couldn't tell if he was waiting on us or performing a one-act play. Had 8 pm reservations and restaurant was nearly empty. Only 3 other tables seated besides ours. Food was a bit under temperature. The flavors were very good, but the portions were miniscule. Dessert was better than the entree/appetizers, but again, very small. The entire experience was a bit pretentious. I can think of a handful of restaurants in the Loop/Mag Mile area that serve superior atmosphere/quality/quantity for a lot less. Pros: Nice flavors, good desserts Cons: Service, portions, price more

Food was not hot- served at room temperature. Presentation was nice...\r Waiter was not attentive - too busy flirting with another employee. \r Restaurant was empty and still we had terrible service. \r We ordered a birthday dessert to celebrate an important birthday and never received it- very disappointing.\r Ordered coffee with dessert and never received it. Had to ask for our bill while the waiter leaned against a wall looking bored...\r We spent a small fortune on this meal and would never go back....Too many other places to choose from with good service and friendly, attentive wait staff...\r Not impressed. Worth the Money?? 1/2/2006

The service was top-notch, not one problem with that. The food however, even though not overpriced was well below my liking. Very limited menu, and both dishes my wife and I got were dry and not up to par. Would not return without chagning the menu. more

Excellent! The French Onion Soup was delicious, as well as the Goat Cheese Salad. Penne Pasta with chicken, garlic, spinach and peppers was fabulous. The Portabella sandwhich and Grilled Salmon are also delicious choices at this fine cuisine. With dessert at Rhapsody, you can't go wrong. Try the Chocolate Symphony or the Toffee Fennel Tarte Tatin. Exquisite! Pros: Fantastic service!, Worth the money, Great Atmosphere more
