I was dining by myself and found that I had been forgotten a few times along with another woman I noticed dining by herself who had been COMPLETELY forgotten. If I had been her I would have walked. This was a Wednesday night. At times I felt like they were doing me a favor when I would ask for something. Bottom line, I expected more for $80 clams. Alot more. Pros: the VIEW Cons: so so service, food didn't measure up to price more

View, service, flavor - WOW! 6/25/2009

My husband was sent to Seattle on a business trip, and decided to fly me to Seattle for the weekend to join him for our Anniversary (June 25). The 67 at the Edgewater had been recommended to my husband by Seattle clients, so we decided to trust their judgment. So glad we did! Our table was set for two as if they were expecting us. This was a nice touch and made us feel welcome. Upon greeting us, our server recognized our Anniversary immediately, and offered to bring us a glass of champagne to celebrate. This was amazing; we had only mentioned our Anniversary while making reservations, which clearly illustrated good flow of communication amongst the staff. We had several questions regarding the menu, which was a bit confusing. Our server quickly and easily explained the menu and assisted us in our selections. She recommended that we choose from the Chef's 'composed' entrees, and described the flavors as a 'symphony'. I agree wholeheartedly! I ordered the full Halibut, and my husband the Filet. OUTSTANDING flavor! Our server also recommended ordering a side dish to share, which was also amazing. Overall, service was flawless. Our needs were met before we had to ask (as if she read our minds). I felt the staff genuinely cared to make our Anniversary enjoyable, and they succeeded! Even as we left we were thanked and wished a 'Happy Anniversary'. The view was outstanding. We enjoyed the sailboat race right in front of the restaurant. Every table has a water view in this restaurant, and it is gorgeous! Thank you to all the staff at 67. Our anniversary was wonderful! I had a hectic day at the airports, freeway in Seattle, etc. You turned our day from Awreck to Amazing! Pros: Flavor, service, ambiance Cons: Slightly confusing menu more

Great food, excellent views! 6/6/2009

View was by far the best. We watched the sun set over the water. Gorgeous. Menu was confusing. With 'half portions', one is led to believe 'full portions' must be huge. Our server explained that this was not the case, and we were thankful as regular portions are just right for the average diner. Food was excellent with many wonderful flavors complimenting each other elloquently and harmoniously. Service was wonderful, polished, professional. Our only complaint being that we counted our server having seven tables, which seemed to stretch our server thin. While observing, we noted that all servers seemed to be very busy. I felt service lacked, and at the same time believe this was due to overextended staff. Overall, I was pleased with my experience, and most certainly will return. Pros: Best views, superb food Cons: Confusing menu, service more

There apparently was a good reason the restaurant was nearly empty... 12/31/2007

I went to the Six Seven restaurant expecting an exceptional fine dining experience. Instead, I paid fine dining prices for formally presented but mediocre cuisine. The vegetables accompanying the meals were meager (the generous amount of asparagus described by our server was probably no more than two spears), undercooked (raw sweet potatoes anyone?), and reminded me of my last (and only) visit to the Village Inn. In the end we left the restaurant over $80 lighter (with no drinks or dessert), with nothing positive to say for our experience at Six Seven. Pros: The view would be great if the weather and timing is right. Cons: The food was awful. It was very expensive, and not anywhere near worth the price. more

Too Dark, Too pushy and Too expensive for the experience 11/20/2007

We were disappointed in the fine dining at the 67. It was too dark inside and you couldn't even see what was on your plate. The biggest complaint was the service. We were rushed through our soups and salads, rushed through the palate cleanser and hounded about if we were finished with our plates. To top it off, before we were ready to leave, and only 15 minutes after finishing the main course we were handed our coats. For the price we paid and for the availability of other tables - we should have been allowed to finish our conversation. I would have even preferred that they ask us to retire to the common room to converse as they needed the table. The salmon for being fresh was over cooked (dry) and coated in glaze to the point that you couldn't taste the unique flavors of the salmon itself. I couldn't believe that we were subjecting friends and business partners from out of town to this horrible example of Seattle's food and especially our fresh Salmon. I was incredibly disappointed and will not be returning or recommending this dining place in the future. Pros: Fancy and Waterfront view is nice Cons: Too pricy for the experience. more

In decline, and such a waste 11/20/2006

Did 25 for $25 dinner this week, was mediocre food and service. Did not have first two wines ordered. Great view, but oh so tired food. Not even a second rate restaurant, and deserves to be dropped from the 25 list. Dark too, hoping you will not see the food, but you still have to taste it, and blindness won't help then. Worst dining experience in Seattle in 18 months from someone who eats frequently in restaurants. Much better Seattle offerings out there, so avoid it, or don't say you weren't warned. Pros: view Cons: ambience, food, service more

Casual but elegant meal, killer view! 5/13/2005

From the fresh baked bread, through the two desserts making it worth the drive from the Airport area, the food was the best we've had in a waterfront restaurant in years. Being Seattle Natives, we know you either get great seafood or a great view, seldom both. 6 7 disproved that theory. The tomato-goat cheese tatin appetizer was outstanding, as was arugula salad. Scallops with proscuitto & goat cheese gnocci with red pepper coulis, melt in your mouth. Big eaters could be disappointed, unless you try a dessert as well. The lemongrass tart with berries, beautiful ad delicious. The chocolate tower, too much ever for two people, but so rich it's worth the drive! Only comment was the lag time between entree and main course, the timing seemed off. Pros: view, flavors, food decor Cons: delay of entrees, deck seating more

Excellent traditional breakfast, amazing views 3/9/2005

Breakfast at the Edgewater's 67 is a great experience. The views are amazing - it's like dining on a cruiseship (without the seasick part!). The menu covers the traditional american breakfast staples and is always perfect. The restaurant is clean and the food preparation is light (even with bacon and eggs or eggs benedict). The only con is the service is hit and miss. Pros: Food quality, Location, Cleanliness Cons: Hit & Miss Service more

Go see the sunset... 3/30/2003

My boyfriend took me to 67 the other night to watch the great sunset we had. We only went to the bar, so I cannot comment much on the food. We had the calamari, which was perfect and came with a pineapple salsa that was really good. The ambience is great...very different from the usual, but in a great way! It was the perfect view for that sunset though. You must go, you won't be disappointed. I'm looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu. Pros: view, ambience more

Exquisite and Romantic 2/21/2003

This restaraunt is in the heart of the Edgewater Hotel on Pier 67. You will be delighted with the view, the decor and especially the food. I ordered the salmon, (this melts in your mouth and I would compare this salmon dish with that of Palisades), while my date ordered the cod. The salmon is absolutely to die for while the cod is more of a fogettable dish. Altogether, your date will be impressed with your pick and you will be impressed that the romantic evening wasn't over 25 bux a dish (i think the most expensive thing on the menu is 33 dollars with an average price of 20-24.). In addition, they have a wonderful bar/lounge. Very posh and upscale. I was impressed with the entire ordeal and I would definitely recommend this place to others. Cheers! Pros: salmon more

What were they thinking!? Cyber trees, plastic and metal chairs? 67 has to have the worst decor of any dining venue in Seattle. This is a shame considering the location. Waterfront dining w/ a "Euro Trash" flair, electro pop music flair. Yuck! The food was good, but served on square plates. Could be a bit more imaginative though. I want good food served by helpful waitstaff, I don't care if I'm one of the "beautiful people". Quit wasting what could be one of the best locations in Seattle! Pros: Great location, helpful staff, good food Cons: Ambience, Techno Music, Idiotic Decor more
