Davood F. Honda Service SUCKS 12/25/2006

First of all, when I purchased my car at Renton, Honda and recieved a one year warranty. However, the CD player is not working and they said they would fix it. But I waited the whole Saturday and nothing was fixed. This has happened many weekends in a row, and this final time they broke my radio too, so now I have no music at all. Also, if you call wanting to speak to the manager, they'll dodge you left and right, because they just don't care at all. more

My Car was better off before the "service" 8/11/2006

Renton Honda has absolutely the worst service I can imagine. A few years ago, I dropped off my civic for a 60k maintenance check. A few days later, my car overheated. I had to tow my car to Renton Honda and they told me when I had the maintenance check, someone forgot to close the valve and all my coolant leaked out. To pay $400 in exchange for to-be overheated car was quite pricey!!! I talked to the manager and he said "you have to understand. we're human and we make mistakes." If there are going to be mistakes like that, I might as well done the check myself and save $400. To top it off, when I tried to pick up my car after the fixed it, they couldn't find it. It took them almost an hour to find my car. ARGHH! And the story continues..I took my car in for an oil change. When I picked up my car at the end of the day, I noticed my hood wasn't closed. I asked them to close my hood and they couldn't. It would not close completely and they said someone will come help me in 30 minutes. I have left my car there the whole day and no one noticed my hood wasn't completely closed. I threw a fit because I still haven't forgiven Honda for overheating my car. A guy immediately checked on my car. What happened was when the guy popped my hood, he twisted the handle and it didn't resume its position. Ever since then, I take my car to Burien Honda. Haven't had problems with them yet. more

Renton Honda gets two thumbs (and all fingers) down 7/19/2006

I used to rave about the service at Renton Honda. It was the best in the Puget Sound for all the Honda dealers. Someone must have taken over a year or so ago, because the past couple times I've trusted them to work on my car, they have: 1) been late by a DAY with me having no way to get home; 2) done work poorly; 3) charged us for work that was obviously not completed. These EACH happened on multiple occassions. As if 1 and 2 weren't bad enough, 3 is fraud. They lose on that aspect alone. They are the first business to get ZERO stars from me. This review shows a 1 only because I had to pick between 1 and 5... more

Don't have your car serviced here 7/19/2006

In the last 8 years Renton Honda has gone from great quality car shop to downright poor. What is going on in the service department? I had taken my Honda to another place for a cheaper service AFTER having had a tune-up done at Honda. The other place questioned the work done(!?!) I had to go back to Renton to get the service done right a second time. My time, frustration, effort and gas was not worth it. Yet I took our other Honda there for a major tune-up last year. Why not, give them a second chance, right? At that point, the car was not completed by the time they promised. My husband had to take the bus home and back. Our Saturday's plans were blown now. A week later, the car died and I found myself stranded with two kids. My battery died. That's funny, I thought this was part of the inspection!!! Go to the one in Edmonds or Hinshaws of Auburn instead. Or risk being put in my situation. more

Good place to buy Hondas, repairs are okay 10/15/2005

We like to buy our Hondas here. They have good customer service and have given us good prices on our cars. Their service dept is okay. I've had to take my van in a couple times for warranty and it takes a LONG time to get the parts back and be notified. They do have a shuttle to take you to the mall while you wait. But they don't do rental cars, so if you need a repair that takes a while, you'll be without a car. more

Great Service 8/16/2005

I purchased my car here a few years ago. I got a great price and since then, have received excellent service from their service department, which keeps amazingly long hours - open until 11p on many days. They are very helpful and always listen to my concerns. You also can get an extra discount on service if you can leave your car overnight; the last time I went it was 10%. more
