Worst

It's true!!! They are charging for salt. How stupid is that? Soon enough you will be paying a fuel surcharge for the butter.

Editorial review from Citysearch 4/19/2013

I have always used this theater due to its location. It is so run down and needs a major update. It smells terrible, carpet and seats are disgusting. Please update Crossroads 20! more

Smells like urine!! 10/20/2008

I used to think that Crossroads 20 was one of the best theaters in the area. My last two experiences have changed my opinion. The theaters reek of urine! The first of my recent trips, it was only entry hallway into the theater that smelled badly. The second trip, the entire theater smelled like a dirty hampster cage. I don't think that I will ever go back to that theater! Pros: Convenient spot for meeting for a movie. Several theaters and movie options. Cons: Unclean and poor maintenance. more

Bad Management. 10/11/2008

It's a great movie theatre; Really nice and all, I go there all the time. But whenever I go there the employees seem to be rude or not doing their jobs correctly. Last night someone dropped us off and my friend had left her ID in the car. All of the other people had theirs. They let us pay for our tickets and right before we walked into the actual theatre the manager stops us and asks for ID. Pros: Good seating, Good Theatre, Variety of Concessions Cons: Really bad management/customer service more

Crossroads 20's salt is extracted from caviar. 6/29/2008

It's true!!! They are charging for salt. How stupid is that? Soon enough you will be paying a fuel surcharge for the butter. more

TERRIBLE! Was put off by their craptastic money grubbing new policy that now charges $1.5 if you want salt. 6/17/2008

Tickets for 2 ~ 18-19$ Pros: There are other places to go than here. Cons: Charged for salt, out of focus, chari squeaked more

Good atmosphere, many screens to choose from 12/18/2006

Good atmosphere, many screens to choose from. Concession stand offers wide variety. Ambiance and setting within each theater is appropriate. Sound system is nice. more

Nice theatre 11/2/2006

Nice theatre in a nice area. Traffic is bad, due to construction in the area, but lots of shopping and food in the area. more

best stadium seating i've found 1/18/2006

this theater has the best seating i've found in the triangle..i've had no problems with the visuals or sound..so i recommend ..it's been clean and people have benn nice and responsive evry time i've been here..the lines can be long for feature films, but i expected it for a theater offering this many new release films..i also thought the prices were comparable to other nice theatres in the area..yes i think it's too expensive, but no i didn't think their prices were any higher than others in the area Pros: seating, cleanliness, selections Cons: lines on weekends more

Prices and stuff for Crossroads20 3/17/2003

Crossroads 20 is a very nice theater. But there are some disadvantages to the cinema. The price for a movie tends to rise. About a month ago, I'd go to see a movie and it was $5. Then today I go to see a movie and it's $5.50! I mean, that's a very high rise! And as if that's not enough, the concession prices are UNBELIEVABLE! Nobody wants to pay that damn much for POPCORN! And even sometimes, the popcorn is COLD! EWW! Although the concessions are very tasty and there's quite a selection, the prices are my complaint. I mean, $1.25 for Mini M&Ms! I can get the same thing for 1/2 that price somewhere else! The audio/visual production is very well, and there is a wide selection of movies to choose from. The seating is VERY comfortable and stadium seating ROCKS! Pros: Seating, Movies Cons: Prices, Popcorn more

One of the best! 1/21/2003

I have recently switched to this theater after having frequented Raleigh Grande. This theater is MUCH cleaner and the attendents are MUCH friendlier. I've seen two movies here so far and the sound/picture quality were excellent and at least CARY keeps their movies UPDATED on this site!!! Pros: Clean, Good sound/picture, Great selection more

Nice except for long lines 1/10/2003

For the most most my movie experience at Crossroads was very good. The biggest problem is the lines. Most times I have been there, I have had to stand in long lines for both tickets and concessions. Pros: Comfortable Cons: Long lines, Mediocre popcorn more

A Great Place 1/2/2003

Great Place to go. A lil pricey if you're not a student, but it's got nice student rates ( ~$5.50 ) Cons: Cost more

YOWZA 12/22/2002

its good, nice theaters and service, good concessions, and always good movies. very nice atmosphere Pros: Good movies, Nice theaters, Large Cons: Sometimes crowded more

Definately the best 10/1/2002

20 Large theaters, nice stadium theaters, good service, well organized, accurate times on showings, and it always has the most recent movies Pros: BIG, nice sound, good parking more

Best of NC 8/7/2002

I have been to every theater in Raleigh and Crossroads 20 scores the best of Raleigh for me. Most comfortable, great sound, VERY CLEAN, polite attendants, excellent sound and presentations. I refuse to go to any other theater and drive all the way from Benson. Hometechnc, never experienced what you are talking about in the hundreds of times I have been... I think you were at United in Garner Cons: long consession line more

9 7/31/2002

A very good theater overall however I have one complaint and one observation. Tensabarrier style rails (like at the airport lines) would dramatically help the lines at the booths. I've been in lines that ultimately merge together in a mix of confusion and frustrated customers. People cue up to the booth windows as seen from the back of the crowd only to sometimes discover that the window they've lined up with is closed and chaotically merging with other undefined lines. Moveable rails would define lines, clearly mark closed booths and ease much frustration. They could at least post a ""Closed"" sign at a high location in closed booths so that it could be viewed from the back of the crowd. Also, am I missing something or is it all too possible that people can simply enter the theater and bypass the ticket collector by cutting through the bathrooms? Pros: best atmosphere, stadium seating, clean Cons: disorganized lines, no small budget films, no internet tickets more

Crossroads 20 Fails the Test 7/30/2002

Took the wife and kids to see MIB 2 this past Saturday. The film presentaiton was very poor ... the picture was saturated with black specks (lazy projectionist fails to maintain his equipment), and the audio was quite distorted for about 15 minutes in the middle of the movie! What a waste of $38 in tickets and snacks! Theater owners should not blame the general public for losing revenues to DVD rentals. And no, this was not an isolated occurence. Pros: Good Parking, New Cons: Bad Quality Control, Poor Management?, Bad Quality Control more

What's with you, Mama? 7/22/2002

I agree with GrOve. This is possibly the theatre in the area. It has the most theatres in the building, and a great selection of movies. How important ARE your drinks, Mama? more
