Great value for a basic overnight stay 6/16/2005

Most people know that Red Roof Inn is known for bare basics accomodations. The prices are very cheap and there are few "extras." That having been said, it's a great place for a basic overnight stay. We have had relatives stay at this particular motel and they had a great experience. The rooms are clean and everything went smoothly in terms of customer service. There is no dining facility on ground, no continental breakfast, no pool. Very basic indeed, but if you know you're going to spend most of your time out anyway, this is the place to stay. more

Red Roof Inn--a value in the area. 5/17/2005

I often book rooms for our out-of-town guests and have used many hotels/motels in the area. Red Roof Inn is a name that most people equate with budget--a bare minimums type of stay. We recently had guests stay at this particular RRI, and found that it was nicer than many we had seen. The lobby was a bit plain but the rooms were very reasonable. No dirt, no odd smells, etc. It was your typical hotel room. Our guests did not care about getting breakfast, and other meals so it posed no problem that there were none available. The prices were outstanding--we recommend this RRI for anyone basically wanting a place to sleep--no frills. more
