Red Sky Tapas & Bar

This is a tapas bar only for those who have never been to a real tapas bar. The bartenders where quite rude and short. I arrived at 7:30 and the place was half-empty, but they still made me wait an hour to be seated at a table because others had reserved the tables. I've never been to a place where if the tables were empty they still made paying customers that were there at that moment wait an hour. \r The selection of tapas are average, but everything seems to have jalapenos in it. \r Another thing that Red Sky lacks is cultural diversity which is something usually experienced at most other tapas bars I have been to. The bar side is really inviting however (minus the bartenders) and I do like the atmosphere. \r I wouldn't recommend Red Sky unless you needed a place to wait out a storm because there are much better tapas restaurants in Atlanta besides this one. But yes you do have to get out of Marietta to try them. more

A Big thank you to the folks at Red Sky..!! Our much needed GNO celebrating everything under the moon was a success thanks to the Sat night dueling piano duos hilarious songs, great drinks and delicious tapas. They definitely got it right.people were pleasant and not attitudinal as would typically be expected in a crowded bar like this on a Sat night...great crowd, great vibe, THANK YOU! more

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! We were there last Saturday night (June 19th) celebrating my wife's 40th. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to express my enormous gratitude to all involved (especially the piano guys!) as we were rushed back into our limousine while the show was ending. Our reservations ""front and center"" were ready upon our arrival of just under 20 people. The food was superb and the service was outstanding, especially considering the large crowd in attendance. I would like to say that they treated my wife to more attention than I could have EVER hoped for. There is NO doubt that we came to the right place for this once in a lifetime event!! My wife will now have nothing but great memories of this great milestone for many years to come!! We absolutely WILL be back in the near future!! THANKS AGAIN RED SKY!! Great bar to go with a friend or meet for a date. You can eat as well and sit outside if you don't want to hear the live music. I don't think they have it everynight but more times then not they have live music. Pros: good live music, good service Cons: small more

I planned a small dinner for my younger sister and her fiance to dine here to celebrate their engagement, just the two of them. However, I live in California so it made planning a little difficult as I wanted to choose a place we had never been to create new memories. Luckily, when I called to make a few personal requests I was directed to the owner. He was incredibly helpful and even called the day of to confirm plans. The only hitch was that my sister and her fiance are young and did not know what to expect from a tapas restaurant. I didn't think to explain that the concept is to order several items as I was sure their server would. They didn't and so they each ordered one dish from from the menu apiece, thinking it would be a meal. Once the food arrived they understood but by that point they were behind in time and decided not to order anything else. I was a bit disappointed hearing this but they loved the food and the atmosphere and my sister told me she would love for us to go when I am in town. So, no harm no foul. Overall, they loved the experience and my sister told me she knew what parts I had a hand in planning and felt I was nearby and I thank the owner for this. As for appearances, I just received the photos and the restaurant looks polished, modern and very pleasing to the eye. My sister tells me they loved the drinks and the dueling pianos. I recommend this restaurant for it's atmosphere and welcoming staff and owner. From the hostess who answered my call to the owner, everyone was helpful and accomodating and I fully intend to visit the next time I am in town. There is no single word to describe Red Sky Tapas! It has it all, the Best of the Best! From the staff, to the food, to the martinis, to the nightly entertainment, to the atmosphere...you can't go wrong for a night out (or even after work drinks). The staff is friendly, efficient and personable, the food is the EXTRAORDINARY (very reasonable prices too), the martinis are the BEST, the entertainment is PROFOUND and the atmosphere is pure unadulterated FUN! Great people watching too... Pros: Hands down, this place has it all... Cons: NONE that I can think of more

Finally a restaurant that has it figured out.. From the minute you walk in the door you are embraced by the welcoming staff. It doesn't take long to realize that they love where they work and want you to be a part of their family. I have tried most items on the menu and have yet to try something I did not enjoy. Drink specials are always available and truly are SPECIALS! Atmosphere is great as you can find yourself, depending on the evening, relaxing to the sounds of great acoustic guitar and great vocals during the week to throwing down an dancing to the great dueling pianos on weekends. Glad to see a restaurant that is getting it right. In this age of customer no service Red Sky delivers a refreshing change by making the customer a priority. My fiends and I visited Red Sky and had the most fabulous time. We were welcomed by the manager Scott and were quickly laughing at his wonderful sense of humor. We had a few drinks at the bar and enjoyed listening to an amazing piano player. I would have paid to see this guy in concert he was so good. We then grabbed a table and began to devour some scrumptious bites, the most memorable being the corn and lobster dip which I've had dreams about since eating. I also enjoyed the fried green tomatoes(yum) and the scallops. My girlfriend had one of the pizza's and ordered a second because she liked it so much. All in all, we'll definately be coming back, next time on a weekend to check out the dualing piano show I've heard so much about. Thank you Red Sky for getting it right! I visited Red Sky with a party of 8 and through out the evening I tasted practically everything on the menu. I am a very picky eater but I honestly did not find one item that I did not like. They have the distinct talent of preparing the most exquisite appetizer items that leave you wanting more. I went to Red Sky because I heard the music scene was great, but I had no idea that the food would be as good as it was. I had the buffalo calamari, seared tenderloin tacos and the lobster dip-- all of which ruled. The social scene, the music scene and food was all that. Consider me a new local at Red Sky. The entertainment was great. The decor is beautiful. The food is... meh. Me and my group had the ceviche, ribs, seafood paella, caprese salad, tres leches, and some other things that I cannot remember. \r \r Firstly the ceviche tasted awful. It was a mushy and warm. It had a slight fishy taste with a hint of lemon - not in a good way. The paella was mushy and bland. and the tres leches tasted.. weird. The caprese salad was good though! They have $3 martini night and you can get all kinds of yummy martinis for that price. The food is delicious and innovative - and reasonably priced from around $5 - 12 a plate, depending on what you ordered. My husband went CRAZY for the buffallo calamari...I loved the filet and shrimp plate. It was all delicious and I would recommend it to anybody. Pros: Cool, Fun, Good prices more

We had so much fun Saturday night at Red Sky and can't wait to take our friends back. The staff was fantastic and the food was amazing. not your typical Tapas same ole same ole. They also have an awesome drink menu for those of us that can never think of what we want. AND, great prices. I had the $6 martini and it was great. We went when they had the dueling pianos and if you have never been to this kind of event, you MUST go. its so much fun and some of the best people watching you will ever see.
