I am a foodservice proffesional and am often highly critical about Asian establishments, but RCA stands out. I've eaten there twice and both times the food was excellent. My wife is Thai and adamant as to what qualifies as Thai food or Thai food for Farangs, which is the source of many culinary arguments between us. The menu covers an array of traditional Thai dishes that equivocally ""Thai Soul food"" as well as the those that are still traditional but influenced by Japanese, Chinese, and Indian cuisines. I've eaten those too many times to feel adventurous so I ordered the Volcano chicken, One of RCA's signature dishes. I also ordered the Rad Na for my wife's sake, and the Angel wings, because I had still yet to try those. Each dish was amazing. The Angel wings Trump any buffalo wings from any sports bar, grill, or Pizza parlor anywhere, hands down. The Rad Na was as good as any I have had and generous in portion size. The Volcano chicken though was something to behold. The Presentation was dramatic to say the least, and our servers dexterity was put to the test as she maneuvered through the tables with a whole chicken being licked with flames on a sizzle plate. The chicken was stuffed with assorted vegtables and were not overcooked mush. The chicken was moist, and the skin was saturated with flavor that I imagined was brandy or soju which must have also been used to create the flaming presentation. My wife loved it too. It was unarguably not a fusion dish, and I won our ongoing debate that New Thai creations are still Thai food thanks to this one dish. My only complaint is that I wish there had been more vegetables stuffed into the fiery bird.
Pros: Well lit you can see your food! Lots of seating, progressive/classic dishes
Cons: Service could be improved, this might be a retention problem I've only eaten there twice.
