Raven Coffee House

The service is BAD folks. 15 min for drinks, 10 min to order, 20 min to get cold yuck food, 15 min to get the check. The manager... yes the manager was very rude to a customer in front of everyone trying to have a plesant lunch. The waitress (I think her name is Jeenette) was the worst of them all and had the nerve to get into a verbal battle with a customer over some type of juice she was trying to charge the poor girl's son extra for. Shame on the Raven. I won't ever be back. Maybe the wait staff had a bad day, but you don't take it our on people who pay the bills to keep your sad coffee shop running. I actually heard the manage say the girl was threating the waitress, because she said she was leaving a bad tip. Ha-ha. Someone call the cops.... bad service = bad tip. more

The only true coffee house in Port Huron, the Raven blends an artsy and home grown feel with an edge. Art clutters the walls and this full service restaurant serves the best coffee in town. The wait staff is friendly and prompt and gives the impression that becoming a regular is worth the investment. The food is tasty, but a little pricy. Worth it you ask? Absolutely. Drinking coffee in this atmosphere wakes your creative side. The Raven is a can't miss local venue, and gives new flavor to the downtown area. more

I was very pleasantly surprised when I entered the Raven. The atmosphere is good, and the walls are lined with book on virtually every subject. The Raven offers internet service to their patrons so you can sit and surf the net if you'd like while enjoying one of there many delicious kinds of coffee! The food there is a whole nother review on its own. There is probalaby about 3 dozen diffrent drinks to choose from, and they also serve fresh pastries and bagels. YUMMY! The Raven is a wonderful addition to our beautiful downtown Port Huron! more

This is the best coffeehouse I have ever been to. The atmosphere is awesome! The woodwork and extensive collection of rare books makes the place really unique. The coffee is great and the food is better! I recommend the Lobster Bisque soup, it is wonderful! They often have live music and have an open mic night. If for whatever reason you are in Port Huron, stopping by the Raven is a must. They have free WiFi, are open late and have good service. more
