No need to rant-- Rave is on its way out 1/29/2006

Sad news for all those fans of the infamously cheap 9.99 special at Rave: the last time I was at Yorktown Mall, it was liquidating all merchandise and closing its doors for the last time. While I'll be the last person to advertise the "quality" garments they sell, what do you expect for less than $10? Although Rave clothing is cheap in every sense of the word, I give them credit for not overcharging for a name brand label. Thanks for the memories and the discounted duds, Rave! more

Awful clothes 12/21/2005

As much as I loved Rave during my teen years, my clothes didn't even last those years. It may be cheap but the quality is absolutely terrible. The design on the shirts come off on the 1st wash and the fabric is made of a cheap synthetic material. I bought a coat there once and it was not warm at all because the fabric was so bad. The shirts snare and the threads start unraveling really fast. Though, for $3 a shirt, I don't know if anyone really cares. more

This store is amazing. If you are tight on money, their selection is great and the prices are even better. I bought a pretty pink skirt for just three dollars. Although the clothes aren't anything special, they are pretty up to date with the latest trends. I would recommend this store to anyone who is low on cash. The service is kind of slow, but that doesn't really bother me. more
