Rani Facial Spa

The staff is not trained The place smells like a bad Indian restaurant. The towels and the facility are dirty. This was honestly the most unpleasant experiences I had. The face cream used was old and smelly. The massage table did not have a head rest. Had to put my face into a dirty smelly pillow. My clothing had to be washed to get rid of the smell. Horrible. more

Not worth going here and I went with a coupon from Dealfind. Even after making a telephonic appointment, neatly calling to reschedule for an hour later, being confirmed and showing up, the only thing they could think to say was that I was 'late' (I wasn't, I was 10 minutes early to my rescheduled time which they had failed to update) and that the other client (there was only one other person in the waiting room) was 'before me'. That I should just take a seat and they would see if they could help me in 20 minutes or so. I explained that I couldn't wait and was told to just 'sit down'.\r \r While I was trying to give my explanation, another customer was screaming in the back. Apparently she had gotten drenched when they attempted to wash her hair. Not a very nice way to enter into an establishment. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Big waste of time (went all the way there for nothing) and money (won't be going back if you drag me - attempting to get a partial refund from Dealfind). more

Every time I come here, I feel pampered and relaxed. Love the friendly service and all the amenities. Recently came here for a massage. It was amazing - the asthetician made me feel comfortable was very attentive to my preferences. She made me feel so relaxed, like I was floating on a cloud. All the knots in my back were gone afterwards. I've been to many of the upscale spas in Manhattan, but Rani's massage is the best of them all. The spa is beautiful and clean. They offer wonderful customer service the moment you walk in. I've had the Signature Massage, Swedish Massage, Four Layer facial, mani and pedi here. All were wonderful. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the services you receive. I just asked for a gift card here for my birthday, so I will be back soon! I would absolutely recommend this spa to anyone - enjoy! more

I am familiar with the Rani Spa in Beverly Hills and have been very pleased with their services so I booked an appointment in New York during my vacation stay. \r \r I had the Ayurvedic facial, eyebrow threading and a hot stone massage while there. My face is still glowing :)\r \r All the staff was very nice and greeted me with smiles! They treat you like royalty the second you walk in the door! How wonderful is that? \r \r I was very pleased with the way my time was not wasted. I went from treatment to treatment seemlessly and without any confusion. Any good review on this spa must be written by either an employee, or by one of their friends because the reviews are completely untrue. This spa is in no way friendly, clean, professional, etc. From the time that you walk in it feels uninviting, and it's very hard to relax while you're here. If you see a coupon on Groupon, LivingSocial, Buy With Me, etc do not waste your money. It may seem like it's a good deal because the price is good, but it isn't. more
