Dinner AT a Movie 4/17/2006

raleighwood combines the night out of dinner and and a movie into dinner AT a movie. Raleighwood is a theater that shows older movies (the type taht would have hit the $2) and also serves a meal. you can get hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, and beer all delivered to your table by waitstaff. t can make for a fun nigth out on the town. the food is way expensive, but you are at the movies after all, what do you expect? more

Fun for kids! 12/1/2005

Raleighwood offers late-run movies and dinner at the same time. For some reason the kids really think this is a treat. The food is ok, the desserts are better. This is a fun place for a small birthday party, or to catch a bite to eat and see an older movie. more

to be one of the "best" theaters in town you would think they would actually post their movies and times? I have come to this site repeatedly as my wife and I see tons of movies and they very rarely have their information listed. They have lost quite a bit of business from us to the Cary theater which is much farther away for us but at least I can always get the times. more

Takes dinner and a movie to a new level 7/31/2005

Have you ever been so crunched for time that you could either do dinner OR a movie, but not both? Well, you're in luck, because here is a movie theatre set up with tables and waiters so you can enjoy an appetizer and dinner in the soft flickering light of the cinema. I have to admit that I have not been here for dinner, but I have taken advantage of their matinees in which they play children's movies. The food is average, but the mere fact that you can order beer while your toddlers watch "Pooh's Heffalump Movie" is worth three stars in my book. more

Offers what other theaters cannot 7/19/2005

The great thing about Raleighwood is that it covers the dinner and a movie date in one place. Show up at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the movie to ensure getting a seat and possibly the meal before the opening credits roll. The food is good, the service is fairly fast and the theater is clean despite people eating in the dark. Raleighwood is also a good place to attend non-movie showings, such as American Idol when locals make it to the finals or to see political parties battle it out on the big screen. more

Food and a film 6/20/2005

raleighwood combines a decent restaurant with a movie theater. What youll see tehre are movuies you would find at the $2 theater, but you can see them while enjoying a great meal. It can get a little expenive. But- you are getting to see a movie while you eat, and prices are reasonable for the quality of food. more
