Raintree Cafe is known for their Irish Breakfast (I've heard that Chris Isaak has been sighted at their Irving Street location too!). They have great food. It's a small place with not much seating but worth visiting. more

Cafe Rain Tree 4/12/2006

My friend and I walked walked into Cafe Rain Tree really expecting nothing. We were strolling along 9th Ave and wated to have breakfast. The wait here was not as long as some of the other cafes. The servers were friendly, gave us time to order even though there were people waiting. The food was brought to us in a timely manner. The breakfast was pretty good, nothing spectacular, but not gross either; just average. I did not care for the coffee though. It was very weak and kinda cold. Otherwise its a safe place to eat. more

American Breakfast 8/17/2005

Raintree Cafe is a good breakfast place to go on any weekday or weekend morning. They've got your typical eggs, bacon and toast breakfast for less than $4 and they are cooked to order. The meals are a good size and are prepared really well. Kind of reminds me of mom's cooking. You won't find soggy eggs here. An excellent place to go! more
