I had a personal experience with a sales associate who works @ Radio Shack .I would give the SAs name except that he has very dramatic and threatening responses if not approached carefully . When approached this approxamatly 50 year old caucasian mans hand shot out in the talk to the hand stance and basicly communicated come no further was my best guess . I approached with a smile to politely ask for help and the reaction was so dramatic that a person would think am I brandishing a weapon . I spoke to the manager Tom who was a nice young man that said this unacceptable behavior has been brought to his attn. before and that he has a bad temper . My theory is this SA has emotional problems not being addressed and is resentful that a younger mentally healthy young man is his boss combined with the fact that he probably hates himself because even as an adult it seems he hasn't advanced very far in life . I hope the nice young manager doesn't let himself be intimidated and realizes that the SA who is older has even more responsibility to interact appropiately and maybe needs to remember to take his medicine . that is my first negative experience @ coscob ct. radio shack and I've been thier customer since 1977 when I would ride my bike there as a child when it was still located next to cardillos .Ihope the owner addresses the problem and i've said a few prayers for the man because my guess is he lives in anguish and needs some meds .
Pros: Very good selection and a nice manager .
Cons: One negative unpredictable employee
