Friendly and helpful pet store in Providence 12/7/2005

The people at RI Aquarium & Pet are very nice to children. If they're not too busy, they will let you hold a rat or a turtle, or even (once) an alligator, or pet a cockatoo. They sell fish, small reptiles and amphibians, small mammals, and birds. They are always available with advice and support, and their prices are very reasonable. more

Wonderful Pet Store! 10/10/2005

This is a great pet store that has many different animals from furry to reptiles. They also carry anything you need to take care of your pet. Its fun for the kids on a rainy day to stop in and check out all the new animals. Prices are pretty reasonable too if you are shopping for a new pet. I highly recommed this pet store!! more

Best pet store in town! 8/20/2005

RI Aquarium and Pet has a variety of fish, plus reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and exotic birds. The staff is exceptionally knowlegeable and helpful and, equally important if you have kids, endlessly patient and friendly with children My daughter, who has bought a bearded dragon, two rats and a variety of goldfish, treats it as a personal pet store, and as long as they aren't too busy, the staff is happy to oblige. more

Pet Store 8/18/2005

One of the best pet store in Rhode Island, this place has all the supplies and equipment for your pet. The store carries guinea pigs, rabbits, reptiles and chinchillas. The aquarium is not as big although they do carry many types of fish including tropical fish. The staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable about pet care. more

Sick Animal 8/12/2005

I got my guinea pig here and he had mites when I got him. There is no excuse for this because treatment is very basic. I just thought he was hyper until he started really pulling his hair out. The vet diagnosed him and when I called the shop , there response was just "We don't use that breeder anymore". I found out later they should have paid the bill. I don't recommend buying any animals here. The cage they recommended was also too small for a guinea pig. more
