I saw their smoothing treatment on Groupon like many others have. I was hesitant at first because I saw all the not-so-great reviews left about services done by them, but decided to give it a chance. I went in and received a Q-Keratin smoothing treatment done by the wonderful Denise. She is the main owner of the place and was nothing but amazingly kind. Very friendly, talkative, which I enjoy very much if I am going to be receiving a treatment that takes awhile to do. Anyway, so I went home and, unfortunately, after the first wash, it turns out the treatment did not work. I called Denise back and she was disappointed to hear that it had not worked and offered to fix it by using a stronger smoothing treatment (f450) to compensate for the failure of the Q-Keratin and made sure that I walked away happy. I went in, received the treatment, and I am happy to say this one did work!\r \r Most importantly, I was happy to see that Denise was concerned enough to make sure that I as a customer walked away happy, whether that meant refunding my money OR by doing another treatment to make up for the last. You can tell this woman wants her customers to be happy. She has customers from 20+ years! That oughta tell you something.\r \r I highly recommend Denise seeing as she is the main owner of the salon. She will treat you amazingly and make sure you are one happy customer. I will be returning for sure! more

It was the worst hair salon experience I have ever had. Kathy was rude, unprofessional and uncooperative. When I said I didn't like the color, she got so angryand started to talk in a unkind way.I regret to go there:( more

Hmm 4 great reviews within a month of each other praising one specific stylist, written by people who became citysearch members shortly before and have only reviewed this company... If your salon is so great, why do you have to stoop to writing fake reviews? more

R Crew salon is fantastic! It is a comfortable salon in a good location. Eian has been my stylist for longer than both of us care to admit!! I would not trust anyone else with my hair. Sorry, I forgot, it is not my hair, it is Eian's more

I love RCrew...all of the stylists are great. They are very personable and really care about their clients. It is a comfortable, unpretentious salon. Eian is my favorite. He's funny, has great taste and is a fantastic colorist. He can never die because no one else in the world can cut my hair the way he does. Check them out....you won't be sorry. more

I have been going to this salon for over 10 years. Eian has made sure my hair always looks good; he knows my hair styling skills aren't the best so makes sure the style is something I can manage! The location in Morgan's alley is very convenient; especially for people who work downtown. I no longer work downtown but won't trust my hair to anyone else so I come back from quite a ways out just to have Eian cut my hair. The other stylists all are experienced and very capable as well. Hope you try them, they are great! more

I went to Heidi at R Crew salon and she is amazing! I love the way she colors my hair and I can tell she is very passionate about what she does! It's so nice to be able to sit back and trust her to do a great job on my hair!!! more

I have tried many salons around the country and this one is the best! My mom and aunt have been going to Denise for several years. They bought me a haircut for my birthday and I loved it so much I never went back to my old salon. She really listens to what you want. My daughter wanted a specific cut and she used a razor to get the cut exactly like my daughter wanted. Pros: Open early and on Saturday. Listens to what I want. more

I received a really bad haircut at this salon and when I asked him to fix it I was told that it looked fine and not to come back. The really sad thing is that I've been going to the same guy there for a year. I feel really betrayed and now I have to go pay full price for someone else to fix my hair. more
