On Friday, 23 December 2005 me and a friend of mines were playing pool and having a good time. My friend proceeded to pay for the drinks and was approached by someone asking why he wasn't tipping the waitress. He then went on to tell them how she'd been very slow in bringing our drinks. He tipped the first waitress we had when we first got there because her service was prompt. He was then told that if he didn't tip, he couldn't return to the pool hall. After about two minutes one of the guys who worked at the front counter approached us and told us that we had to leave because we didn't tip. I then began to say that there weren't any signs saying that it was mandatory to tip and he explained to me that it was the owners policy.
Pros: layout, location, hours
Cons: false tipping policy, false tipping policy, false tipping policy
