I've experienced a similar situation like the other review post had described. Did buy a puppy from there and when I brought the puppy home is was not social yet was happy to have space to run and play. Not only that by bed time while the puppy slept, it was breathing heavily. Though he might not make it through the night. I'm not sure what's wrong but after reading these reviews made me think twice. more

Puppy World 12/10/2006

I have been to Puppy World a few times and every time I have been disappointed. They carry very few pet supplies and what they do carry is overpriced. The store is just an outpost to sell Puppy Mill puppies. Their puppies do look healthy, but the prices are outrageous. I also would not believe anything the staff tells you. They will say just about anything about a breed just to get you to buy the breed. They never share the downsides to some of the personalities. I talked to them about a Pomeranian and they swore that the coat was easy to care for and would only need professional grooming once or twice a year! Anyone who owns a Pom knows that is a BIG FAT LIE. Please be careful when purchasing from Puppy World. I fear that in the long run you will find that they puppy will be unhealthy and I question their breeding standards. more

Oh please don't. Don't shop at Puppyworld Inc. First off, you are encouraging the sales of puppy mill animals. And they also try to sell *designer* dogs for outrageous prices, which are nothing more than a cross breed pet. I have spoken in the past two years with numerous people that have purchased a puppy from this establishment. And NONE have been satisfied. Just lately, a neighbor purchased a puppy from them and they have encurred more than $2,500.00 in medical bills in the past two months due to the signifigant health problems this poor puppy mill dog has. There are OTHER places to go. This is NOT one of them. more
